  1. There is a new 112 Fortrex on Pro V Bass right now - Once I can check out the new Ultrex and as long as there aren't any "Surprises", I'm switching it out. While I'm at it, that 360 will make a nice addition as well. And some fortunate human is going to get a Sweet Deal on a barely broke-in Fortrex. A-Jay
  2. BIG FISH JEFF ~ Strikes Again ~ ! It is fantastic that you have such an awesome lake that shows just how Instinctual, Talented & Truly Scary a Bass Angler you are. Way to Go my Friend. A-Jay
  3. Water Temps are in the mid-60's here now. Perfect "Football" Weather and today they came in Pairs. A-Jay

  5. You & I are on opposite sides of the warranty fence. To me, Manufacturers Defect means just that and nothing more. I would never expect warranty service on a product that I damaged. I have no problem accepting responsibility for my actions; accidental or otherwise. I have used a few other companies "Warranty Service" when appropriate and have had Very Good Experiences in every case. Your mileage may vary. A-Jay
  6. Here's a Custom Pour compliments of Paul Krew Custom Hand Pourer Baits. A-Jay
  7. Bummer your Dad stepped on your rod. Here's the link the Fenwick Warranty "Get Your Fenwick Fishing Program". http://www.fenwickfishing.com/Fenwick-warranty.html I've never had an occasion to use it myself (thankfully) and a quick review of it indicates that theirs covers manufacturer's defects. They also offer deals on replacement rods when one is accidentally broken. Might be faster, easier and cheaper to simply have the damage guide repaired / replaced locally. A-Jay

  18. Getting Shallow water cruisers to bite, as noted by most of the members here, is fairly challenging. Over the years my personal average on doing so is well below the Mendoza Line. (which is pretty low) Despite the apparent futility of it, I still try as every so often, if I haven't been detected, one will oblige me by eating my offering. Weightless stick baits, drop shot baits and sometimes a small topwater bait as appeal. All is not lost however. This approach can certainly raise one's catch ratio quite a bit. It's advisable to check with both state & local regulations before doing so. Kidding ~ A-Jay
  19. Thanks TS I appreciate it - I'm not doing anything different. It's just that the Pro V is giving me access to water I could never get out on in the Old Town. A-Jay

  21. Yes - And an out of state fishing license for each state would be advisable as well. A-Jay
  22. Thanks ~ I'm such a spaz - I did think it was another big pike and I didn't want to lose another bait so I was Cranking it in pretty good. Then it went Skyward - I realized right about then I need to turn on the camera and GET THE NET ! A-Jay
  23. That's pretty funny. I'll admit that although not done consciously, I think that the last three Really big pike video's I posted all included some version of the Trifecta. I know the PB Pike from last Fall definitely did . . . We'll get along just fine. Abnormal - but fine. A-Jay
  24. Hello Avery and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  25. Thanks - I'm usually the "Reason" for any muting or voice over editing - I'm good for at least one Harsh "K" word per video. A-Jay
