  1. Congrats ~ I'm still waiting for one - First week of May is next projected production run. I'll also have the second console, hope they have them in by then. Sorry to hear about the cover & Fortrex fitment issue. I'll be contacting my dealer Monday to discuss this. Might have to change things up before productions starts. Perhaps one of the Minn Kota quick release or universal mounting brackets would help solve the cover deal. Any issues with the Talon & associated mounting hardware ? Was there any "modification" needed to ensure the tilt brackets operated properly ? btw ~ if you're interested in a cover for your O/B as well as the Talons - this is a very nice product. http://www.tuffskinz.net/ A-Jay
  2. I do not fish competitively, But for me it's all about being able to balance the many aspects and challenges in my life and to remember to appreciate & understand my life for what it is. Precious, Fleeting & Good. A-Jay
  3. Thanks - Those Fat Smallies where all over that jerk bait like a Pit bull on a corn dog. A-Jay
  4. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Fish with whatever baits & presentations you've had success with from the bank - Difference now is you'll be able to present them from the other direction. Good Luck A-Jay
  5. Here's some footage of a few of the better fish. It's raw & a little long. A-Jay
  6. Thanks - I've got some of my typical "raw" video loading up now. I'll posting once it's done. A-Jay
  7. I got out today on one of the larger bodies of water I fish. Most of the Ice went out Yesterday though about 1/3 of the lower / southern end was still froze up. Water was a little stained & 41 degrees at the launch. Headed to a depression on a sun baked flat that has wood in about 10 FOW. Jerkbait started taking decent fish right away. A Slow sweep with a 4-6 second pause was the ticket. Most fish came on the pause. As the sun started to warm things up I moved closer to the ice flow - fished the edge of a long sloping point. Still throwing the jerkbait. Bigger smallies here. 3's & 4's. Fish were getting pretty brave. Following the bait right to the boat & then choking it. Really fun to watch. Don't ever remember a day like today, and won't soon forget this one. Fishing next to ice in shirt sleeves & wacking very respectable Brown Bass. Got some video. It's loading up now. I'll post it up once it's ready. A-Jay
  8. Hello Michael and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  9. @Kevin22 ~ That post is tough love. Hard to post up and even tougher to read (for the OP). But it had to be said. Should really be a "sticky". A-Jay
  10. Seems like so far your available choices, (recent past & present) have sounded - let's call it below average. Perhaps it would be wise to wait a bit, save up some more $$ and purchase a boat, motor & trailer from this century. Replacement parts would most certainly be easier to find & many of the humans who have experience effecting repairs would still be alive. A-Jay
  11. I finally got out today ~ sunny & 60 - ish. Jerk bait was making it happen to the tune of 4 Brown Bass. Felt good. Going again tomorrow - Oh and I'm not ? A-Jay

  15. I'm have some serious Deja vu right now . . . . A-Jay
  16. Through out the 6th Sense bait line, I have upwards of about 40 of so hard baits, including several lipless baits. Needless to say, I'm a fan. Of those, I've had One rattling crankbait (it was a proto type) that didn't rattle. I e-mailed Casey - sent him the defective lure & he sent out a working replacement - along with a nice discount coupon. Sometimes customer service satisfaction doesn't happen quite as fast as we'd like. I'd say to continue to let them know the situation until you're satisfied with the out come. A-Jay
  17. First Off, Hello Joseph and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ OK - so you hate Fluorocarbon ~ Me Too. But you didn't mention anywhere in your post that you were using it ? There's talk about 20 & 50-80 lb braid. What's up ? A-Jay
  18. I totally agree - Unprofessional describes it ~ Move on - You'll get what you're looking for and this will just be part of the story. A-Jay
  19. OK ~ and if you'd gone to $2400 you'd have a new boat. A-Jay
  20. Interesting ~ He wouldn't come down on his price and you wouldn't come up on your price. So you think he was being unreasonable and apparently he feels you're being unreasonable. Using inappropriate language & unprofessional behavior is obviously unacceptable but standing firm on a price is just how it goes sometimes. The seller wants more and the buyer wants to pay less. Good Luck on your continued search. A-Jay
  21. Of course you do Catt - because you're very sneaky . . . A-Jay
  22. That's the popular consensus ~ Summer time is the only time bass can be caught at night - Why is that ? It's definitely at time that's more comfortable for anglers than the dog days of Summer. So bass at night in April ? Guess you'll never know if you never try. I'm probably way off anyway. A-Jay
  23. There ya go ~ Best of luck to you. A-Jay
  24. Same to you ~ Getting out . . .are you a YN or an SK ? A-Jay
  25. Yak Bass are Kool Congrats A-Jay
