  1. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Good Luck with your move A-Jay
  2. Predators take advantage of any & every situation they can get - including low light feeding. When bass are willing to strike a bait during day light, anytime & anywhere including April in Georgia, they will also do it at night. Be careful though, it's a little scary and you might get your arm broke. A-Jay
  3. Hello Bruce and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ If you're not doing it already, use your hand to close the reel's bail instead of the mechanized "Trip" on the reel. Two reasons ~ 1) If the line sliding into/under the spool cap - it's probably happening right as the bail's initially closing. 2) Whatever is causing this - you'll be able to detect it right off before it turns into a mess & fix it. 8. Fish whenever you can - But if I had to pick 2 trips with the best chance to catch a big bass . . . . I'd go with Tues April 19th - At Night And some time Thurs & Fri the 21st and / or 22nd of April. Prime time might be the hours right before & during the start of the barometric pressure drop. Might be in the darkness late Thursday night or pre-dawn hours of Friday morning. btw ~ Full Moon - rises 8:47 pm your local time on the 22nd. Good Luck A-Jay
  9. I'm not either (Pats Fan) ~ This foolishness should infuriate every NFL and MLB fan alike. Regardless if one thought it was a catch or not, or a safe slide or not, but now and until who knows when, another one of both these games most exciting, athletic & critical plays can only be determined by this guy . . . Stuuuuuu-Pid. A-Jay

  11. Tough to say for sure but visible damage (otherwise known as Neglect) is often only a small percentage compared to what may be "Unseen". http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/search/?&q=carpet&type=forums_topic&search_in=titles A-Jay

  14. Perhaps from time to time you should leave a hook in - squeeze down the barb of course . .Just Kidding. There's nothing wrong with eating a bass - I don't particularly care for it but I say let the man enjoy is catch. A-Jay

  20. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Props for one of the better first posts so far this year. Looking forward to your future contributions. To the OP ~ there may be no right answer. However, please keep in mind that many of the responses you'll no doubt receive here, will come from humans who have been seriously afflicted with the syndrome billjaco alluded to above. It's diabolical. A-Jay

  23. I don't fish a ton of lizards, but in certain places the sheer fish catching power of the 6" Junebug Z Man’s 10X tough elaztech lizardz is both Magical and Legendary. A-Jay
