  1. That's a Full Grown one right there ~ Congrats A-Jay
  2. Thanks for the kinds words guys. On more than a few occasions, I've been guilty of being pretty short (without trying to be funny) when responding to some of the more repeated inquiries. It felt hard not to. I think the challenge lies in that there is just So MUCH information here that not only is there an initial learning curve to access it but it's even tough to describe to a new member just how much there is to offer. OH - and let's not forget - IT'S FREE. A-Jay
  3. The Boomerang Snip model I have has 5 very small Phillip's head screws on one side. Once removed the back of the tool opens up & can be removed. This access will allow for the removal of the "Snip" assembly. This makes sharpening it more effective. There's a small spring clip to remove as well. Note that (at least my model) there is one serrated blade that will not ever need sharpening & one straight edge blade that does. Unless that edge has been totally abused, a few solid strokes with the small honing tool of your choice should put a fine cutting edged right back on it. Then it's only a matter of reassembly. A-Jay
  4. So perfect they look fake. Congrats A-Jay

  7. Hello Brad and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ I believe that you'll soon find that this site truly lives up to it's name. There So Much information here ~ answers to all types of questions just like the one you've asked. Tackle preference (especially rods & reels) is a topic that is cover here in the forums several times a day. Additionally, you can easily find a ton of information on this & just about everything else, by clicking into the "Fishing Articles" section at the top of the page. There's also some tackle reviews available there that can help you narrow down what you're looking for. And Last but not Least, the Bass Resource Fishing Flea Market Forum is a great place to find solid deals on tackle being sold by other passionate bass fisherman. Enjoy A-Jay
  8. 2015 was exactly what I made of it and it was good. The only "bad" year will be the one I'm not a part of. There's not enough of them left to waste. My one & only goal for 2016 (fishing wise) is pictured below everything else will take care of itself. A-Jay
  9. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ I Highly recommend the SK Rage Craw on a drop shot Super effective - especially in deep clear lakes. A-Jay

  13. Beside the afore mentioned crank bait retrieval, if you fish Any of the large swim bait (Hudd & Sliders & you name it) along with Any of the Umbrella Rigs - lost baits are NO FUN. I made my own - not much to it. And sometimes you never know what you'll pull up. A-Jay
  14. My tackle box has a neat trolling motor attachment and needs to be trailered. It's pretty heavy but there's still plenty of room for more A-Jay

  19. And then there's this . . . . I'd say it depends who you work with. If an individual is apt to end you, I'd imagine there may be cause for an alternate presentation. Though not your friend, it is someone's wife, sister or mother. Perhaps it boils down to self discipline & respect. How would ones life be different if the negative judgmental assumptions about people encountered stopped ? Looking for the good and respecting their journey is cool too. A-Jay
