  1. Scumfrog popping frog in black w/ yellow legs. Very boss lure!!!
  2. Dude beetle spins are KILLER. They work year round for us down here in Louisiana. Ive caught everything from bunches of bluegill, bass, and even a few redfish on the bigger ones. Bubblegum will always be my favorite and most productive color 8-)
  3. Buy some Zoom Fluke Jrs in shad/minnow colors with some 1/0 Gamagatzu worm hooks and see what happens ;D
  4. What was he tearing up? Minnows? Shad? Throw a fluke, or a rattletrap, or a rapala at him and see what happens...
  5. Thanks everyone! I went out today reading this definitely helped. I had quite a few followups on my buzzbait, so I switched back to a Fluke and had lots of success! Caught about 15 and missed another 5 or 6. I did miss a MONSTER though, didnt see the fish but he pulled harder than a redfish! haha it was rad, thanks again everyone!
  6. I agree with this 100% If you cant save them, then sir you have lunch. Thats better than just letting them float away..
  7. I would go today. I go sometimes on the day before a coldfront hits and the bass seem to go on a feeding craze in my area I guess to stock up before the front hits. I usually have a good time on those days hehe.
  8. Ok KVD ;D ACTUALLY! Ive been trying to find one of these Cavitrons for a while, where are you guys buying them? Ive looked in local tackle stores, walmart and academy. Probably BPS or Cabelas would have them no? My best buzzbait in the box will always be my little 1/8oz Strike King Buzzbait, black skirt. Its one of my go-to baits but like I said, Ive yet to try one of these Cavitrons :-/
  9. Ive met quite a few bass pros. Id go with Roland Martin or KVD on Lake El'Salto hahah :
  10. Just wondering what you guys do whenever your fishing a buzzbait, or a fluke, or any topwater. When you see a nice bass coming at it, do you continue your retrieve? Speed up? or slow down? or stop all together?? Seems like every outing to my little canal Im getting these HUGE wakes behind my topwaters, some turn away and some take it but ofcourse I panic at the sight of a big bass coming out of nowhere hahahaha. Last time I had a fish come out of this big clump of weeds after my senko (fishing it like a jerkbait) this bass was throwing a wake of 4 or 5 inches high (no joke!) so I was wondering what you guys do? Maybe with some help I can land one of these slugs!
  11. Bull red on a worm. I thought I had a goliathan of a bass
  12. ] Trophy Bass has around 100 lures, real lakes, boat manufacturers, brand name stuff. I agree, theres nothing that comes close to the real thing, but what about those days where youre sick in bed? or the weather outside is going crazy? ;D
  13. Depends I guess where your fishing them. As for me my main habitat is shallow water (deepest is around 6ft) around lots of big weedbeds and over the tops of millfoil and stuff. If Im fishing a Fluke JR, I rig it weightless (T-rig) on a 1/0 Gamagatsu hook. For Super Flukes I rig them same way only on a 4/0 Gamagatsu hook. I change the gauges of hooks (Thin or thick wired) depending on the fall rate Im looking for on it. The main colors I use are natural, Tennessee shad I think they call it. Basically just matching the hatch. Hope this helps!!! I love Flukes ;D
  14. Dude that looks awesome! I want it haha that thing would be KILLER around here
  15. Bass Strike is definitely my top favorite for PS2. Best fishing game Ive ever played though is probably Trophy Bass 4 for the PC.
  16. Hell yea man thankyou very much!!!!! Tight lines to you!!!
  17. That turned out pretty cool haha. Caught about 10 or 12, lost about another 5 or 6. Hooked a few really nice fish, a couple probably went a little over 5lbs. Actually had one pop my line, and I check my line after every fish! Im pretty stoked, next time I go Ima bring my camera. All my fish were no smaller then about 2lbs, my largest was maybe tapping on 3lbs. Tons of fun!!!! They all came on Flukes and Bass Assasins too! ;D Again, sorry for no pics!!!! I didnt think I was gonna hit on anything today hahah
  18. Im getting ready to go fish an old spot from when I was a little kid. I just found it on google earth. The terrain around the spot changed alot, construction in the area and all so I kinda lost it for a long time. Im 19 now and the last time I fished this spot was probably when I was 11 or 12. I remember last time we went we caught around 30 fish, biggest one being over 7 pounds so Im pretty stoked to be hitting that spot in a little bit. Plus Ive got ALOT more fishing know how then I did when I was a little kid hahaha so yea, pretty amped up. Ima let you guys know how it goes...now wheres my Flukes??? ;D
  19. Been there done that, the main thing is to not be scared to try new techniques, even techniques youve never heard of before. Also, in times of doubt, dont hesitate to downsize and slow down. And try to throw your lure where you pretty much think your gonna get a snag haha I cant tell you the number of times Ive thrown in rediculous looking spots, spots where the waters not even a foot deep, or under some haggard tree and have pulled lots of nice bass out of.
  20. Thats rad, making new friends is always a cool deal!
  21. Heres the only fish I remembered the camera for hahah
  22. Twilight hours, my biggest fish the whole day was around 3 1/2 pounds. He hit a chartreuse/white 5" senko fished like a jerkbait.
  23. Went down to my local dredge canal yesterday. Got there about 5am but had no hits till about 9 or 10. Caught I think around 11 or 12 fish, all around 2lbs. It was pretty windy all day, probably into the 20mph zone. Water was pretty dirty but toward the back of the canal it got crystal clear. Caught most of my fish on flukes and senkos all in shad colors. Pretty fun day! I came back home mid day to beat the heat a little bit and to get some lunch then went back out later. Heres some pics.
  24. X2 on that one buddy x3 on that too
  25. x2 Also a bag full of white ZOOM Fluke Jrs :
