BPS Crank'n Stick Users ?
Most likely people talking about the old ones , the new ones that came out this last year are not that good.

Backing to mainline knot?
A uni to uni , three turns on each side will do it.

BPS Crank'n Stick Users ?
I have one of the new crankin sticks , the grey one , 7'6. Decent rod but , I think there are way better rods for the money. They really are cheap compared to the old style bps crankin sticks. Dobyns 705CB Fury would be a better choice imo. Or a St.Croix Bass X 7'2 MH Moderate.

SLX XT vs Tatula 100.
Tat 100 is 6.9 oz. Not exactly heavy and clunky.

SLX XT vs Tatula 100.
I have owned both , still have the Tatula 100 , it has the extra bearings where it needs it. The Slx xt and the Slx both got geary feeling after some extensive use. The Tat is still smooth , not to mention it bomb cast with little effort.

Drag Tips for SLX Owners
The package I bought said they fit the curado HG and XG. Either way , they worked on the slx xt hg. I would recommend only changing the big washer. The smaller one might be a different thickness and mess with gear alignment. That's what I did.

Daiwa BG clicking issue
If you search youtube. Look for one titled "Daiwa BG Full maintenance and service tutorial" you'll see a excellent vid on the BG , a complete tear down. It's about 57 mins long.

Line for Texas Rigs and Jigs
When I'm dragging a worm or senko for double digit fish , it's with P-Line CXX 15#. That line is no joke. Keep it sprayed down with kvd or reel magic if you're worried about memory.

Fuego CT or Tatula 100
I have both , like them equally. Been using the 8.1 Tat 100 for frogs and paddle tail swimbaits , 50# braid. It has not disappointed one bit.

SLX vs Fuego CT for Frogging
Gears got rough , the reel was not smooth after a couple of months.

SLX vs Fuego CT for Frogging
I used it for flipping and it didn't last. Fuego and Tatulas are still going strong.

Cranking Rod Suggestion - Wiggle Warts and 2.5s
Nothing wrong with a 705cb. The Veritas crankbait rod line up is pretty extensive if you're looking to save some cash.

SLX vs Fuego CT for Frogging
I'm gonna say fuego , for the higher bearing count on the crankshaft. I had both , still own the fuego.

BPS Line Conditioner
If you're looking to save money, buy it in bigger containers. They make a 16 oz bottle and you can also buy 1 gallon.

DAIWA BG 4000 is not supposed to do this
If you mail it back to daiwa , they would fix it for little to nothing.Even though it's out of warranty. Print this paper , box it up and send it in. https://www.daiwa.com/us/service/image/ServiceRequestForm.pdf

Best Baitcast Reel under $200
I saw the Tatula Elites selling on ebay for $219 if you can scrounge up another $19.

Daiwa 60th Anniversary Reel?
I think the one to hold on to will be the Tatula Sv. There's a new one on the way , but there's gonna be ppl that swear by the old one. Tackle trap has a killer deal on them right now. I am in no way affiliated, just passing along a good deal.

Looking for a new cranking reel..
Tatula 150P 5:5:1 ratio , sportsman outfitters has them for $109. Aluminum frame and side plate ,gear side. That's what I use.
