  2. I use the "flying lure" I purchased a few years back for $1.99 at a new spot that never seen a fisherman and the bass loved it.
  3. Just for this reason I been filling boxes up with the Norman thin N's. Bomber fat a's, model a's ect. I got burned when bps discontinued the top nocker it's not going to happen again. As far as quality control it can happen with any lure company. I purchased six Mann's baby 1 in browncraw five caught fish one doesn't. BE AWARE OF THE SCALPERS....there raising prices on the Norman thin n already seen them up to $8 to $15 already.
  4. I use a weed guard or if a hook alone is used I use a weedless hook most of the time.
  5. Bps topnocker that's it.

  7. There isn't too many lures I haven't caught fish with. Actually some lures do catch more fish than others. I give them a squirt of scent, cast them out and try different presentations. If nothing happens I change colors.
  8. Custom painted River Rat lures ebay. There very affordable and the paint job is awesome. The quality is like what the $25/$30 crankbaits cost. I hope to get more.
  9. Don't even ask. example,,,,,once a crankbaits works I purchase every color shallow and deep. I do the same with every bait. If I don't spend my money on me the misses will spend it on the next guy right?
  10. Luckily I stocked up on them. But my supply won't last forever. I lost a few to bigger bass on long casts from shore they dove into the weeds. My freshwater tackle just can't turn there heads. There in control.
  11. I started using 5" senko in red black flake. They worked great but one senko per fish. No money left even for a happy meal have to hit the dollar menu. Then I switched to bps stik o worms in Amber red flake cheaper. Lasts longer and works. They don't offer then anymore. Now Bizzbaits offers senko type baits. Affordable in back in the happy meal and I get my toy............lmao
  12. My number one fish catcher of all time for decades is?.............. BASS PRO SHOPS "TOPNOCKER" color #25.
  13. River fishing for bass it's inline spinners and spinflys. I drag them around and over exposed rocks into the pools. I cast down stream and let the current move the blades. Don't move the bait too fast. Fish it slow.
  14. When I add split rings I may go up one treble hook size on the rear hook.
  15. Clear water the rule of thumb is smaller sized baits fished faster. Natural colors. Stained water the rule of thumb is medium sized baits fished slower. Brighter in color. Muddy water the rule of thumb is larger sized baits fished the slowest. The brightest in color. Chartruese The rule of thumb. There are no rules. But match the colors to the water conditions all the different baits apply. A rattle and using a scent is a plus. On a tough bite chartruese could be your hot bait.
  16. Five spinning setups. One baitcaster. Two 9606 split roof tackle boxes on topwater one cranks. Another tackle box weedless. I leave the kitchen sink in the car till it's needed. My box of assorted scents.
  17. I wake up every morning to a Bigfoot lately or is it a pit bull. If she was laying on my arm I'd chew it off to get away not to wake her up.
  18. Don't tell no one, trust no one. I showed two of my buddies and they took everyone to one of my spots. One caught a 5lb bass and had it mounted. That's a small one I said nothing. In the weeds a weighted grub. A 6" black worm split shot rigged during the day. Fish the weed line with Crankbaits.
  19. Every time I cook my world famous bacon cheeseburgers my big furry freind shows up hollowing. The intense screams I'd nothing I ever heard.
  20. Be aware snakes go after turtles. Be careful.
  21. Listen to Glenn either a split shot rig or a 1/8oz c rig. I use my rod tip and follow the bait down. Any rod tip movement I set the hook. It can be the lightest tap, tap. Watch the rod tip.
  22. Big spooks, knocker spooks, tiny spooks, prop spooks etc.
  23. I spilled a bottle of bait mate garlic scent in my hatch back and on the rear bumper. Not only did my car smell like a Italian salad all week I attracted a bear one night. I'm not sure if I'd rather be yellow or have a big furry pet. Either way it wasn't good.
  24. Fish in the river fight harder. Younger bass fight hard.
  25. My only problem a few years back was a pickerel he had the whole CRANKBAIT in his mouth. Every time I tried to remove the trebled he snapped his mouth shut. He tried to bite me. I finally got it out and released him. I carry a mini carpenters wooden box I made that holds my scents and surgical long needle nose pliers.
