I been researching into the paranormal. Never believed it. My son was talking about a haunted place not to far away. Dudleytown near Kent,ct. Ok it messed with my dog and camera. Search the cosmic society. It's real. Fast forward to our new place. I was awoke by a woman all gray in color, looked like the mom on that 70's show. She was standing on my side of the bed. I told her to go away and pulled the covers over my head. I constantly get touched. I'm thinking it's one of my six cats poking me in my back but nothing is there. It's not a finger tip poke it's a side of the finger touch. It happens all the time. I am in the basement I hear crashes upstairs. But I find nothing when I look for broken glass. I also see short and tall black shadows moving through the corner of my eye. It's just strange. Just today the wind up Christmas snow globe chimes played a whole Christmas song. It's up in the attic since last year.
  2. Lame story. In Mass search the Bridgewater triangle, in mass and the bennington triangle in vt.
  3. I'll bet a lot of fisherman do it to get away from there wives ill say 25%??? That's 25% are pros, 50% is us.
  4. Try a few towns over. I was shopping at all the local Wal-Mart's.
  5. Keep it civil don't pick on anyone it's going to be a long winter.
  6. Bigfoot In the nfl. Sign him quick but he's a tad small he should be 12" taller and wider?
  7. Turkey with a cranberry, sausage stuffing. Then it's salad, ravioli, sausage, meatballs. Christmas it's prime rib, salad, homemade noodles with meatballs, sausage. Easter it's spiral honey ham, salad, lasagna with meatballs, sausage.
  8. It was the year when the rapala glass raps were offered. I was in a rush to fish. It was a tad windy. I had around $35 in lures in the trees when I left. I couldn't stay there any longer. I couldn't afford it. Most years I lose nothing.
  9. I'd rather give. Last year I gave six spinning setups to the family 6'6" rods to the women and 7' to the guys all med/hvy action rods. This year I'm thinking of another med rod setup for spinnerbaits. Ill make up all of them my tweeked spinnerbaits. Also make them some Carolina rigs too. Maybe supply some senkos, worms, brushogs from Santa too. The gift to me was from God the gift of life I im surviving cancer. I'm thinking about a new mustang in the springtime along with a new motorcycle with a telescopic rod under the seat.
  10. Larger baits, keeps #3, #4, inline spinners. Get the bite going on the number 3, when the bite slows down put on the number 4.

Looks like we're on high alert along with some other countries. Everyone is holding there breathe on this one.
  13. Why stir up the mud and silt from the bottom? Stay off the bottom. Spinnerbaits, shallower cranks. I like a lot of thump inline spinners, Indiana blades on spinnerbaits. I fished a swamp like that with mud/silt. As long as I stayed off the bottom I was fine.
  14. I have the large spinnerbait box I think it holds 100 spinnerbaits.
  15. In streams with exposed rocks I throw spinners on the rocks and plop them into the pools.
  16. Good luck. During recovery you can hang out here? I hurt both shoulders on a quad accident. The rest of my body hurts so much decades later I don't feel the shoulders.
  17. Creeks, rivers, crawfish cranks, panther Martin spinflys, inline spinners, larger rivers shallow cranks, spinnerbaits. Ponds everything. Topwater poppers, spooks, prop baits, shallow cranks, spinnerbaits, inlines, jigs, c-rigs, split shot rig worms.
  18. I have one tackle box with plastics and pre-made c-rigs in plastic zip loc bags(different weights). New plastics are in the original bags. Used plastics are kept in zip lock bags for each bait. I don't mix colors. At home I use those larger green spinnerbait boxes to store each type of plastics. Senkos, swimbaits, lizzards, crawfish, have there own box. The worms are sorted by brand and length in boxes. The I have larger cardboard boxes that I have a backup stash. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't drive that much. I buy fishing stuff. I don't believe in shopping during the time I'm fishing non stop 24/7 for months straight. Once I'm in the groove I only fish. Since I fish near the car I take 5 tackle boxes and 5 rod setups. I take two tackle boxes with me. I can always get something from the car.
  19. Springtime baits and fall baits are pretty much the same as the rule of thumb goes. The only time the baits change is in the summertime. Jigs work all year. Hint, the rules are meant to be broken
  20. They are there just not striking what your throwing. They do learn our baits when fishing the same places over and over. I fish smaller ponds and what bait is hot this year isn't so hot next year. I throw a variety of baits till I get action. Topwater poppers / spooks Crankbaits bomber model A Minnow baits hard rapala Spinnerbaits Mann's classic Inline spinners mepps, strike king, joesflys Spinflys panther martins C-rig plastics. Senkos, brushing etc. Split shot rigged worm Jig n pig Add a scent, if your using a scent change the flavor. Try different depths, sizes and colors bait wise. Baits that run deeper that float can be used at different depths do to line speed. Slower shallower, faster deeper. Get in the zone, think fishing, focus, motivate. For me fishing is when the challenge begins. I know the fish are there in the past. Bass don't see all the colors all the time like we do. They can be color limited at times. I tossed a red black flake senko and pulled three nice bass out of this structure. A few days later nothing on red. I switched to electric blue silver flake and pulled out bass in the same spot. Your bass are there waiting for you to throw the right bait. Don't rush your retrieves I keep mine slow, steady, even speed wise. With blade baits I go just fast enough so the blades spin. With bank / shore fishing we need to change our tracts often when fishing the same places. Rotate your baits often. I pull out a few baits and put in used or new baits that's different. It's a ball game and your the picture. Take control. Shore fishing isn't that tough once we figure it out.
  21. In one of my smaller lakes in ct over a decade ago we had a winter kill. The ice fisherman said there was big bass, small bass dead frozen in the ice. Nature weeds out the over population. Now we have slot limits.
  22. If we lived closer I'd stay with you. I'd go outside too. I'd make bf my world famous bacon cheeseburgers.
  23. They have a chicken leg shaped piece of meat in there backs. I heard it's sweet tasting.
  24. Watch Duck Dynasty those guys don't stop hunting for nobody. We can learn a lot from Phil Robertson. For almost 42 years now I been in a marriage, a partnership, of understanding. My hobbies are never infringed upon. We agree to give each other are own space at times. It works.
