  1. Be flexible when the bite is off. I throw all size baits they will tell you when it's right. Ok the smaller bait is working. When the bite slows down upside your bait.
  2. How much do you have to spend on a rod? Then make a list of the rods in your price range. The gurus here will help u pick.
  3. Crankbaits with orange bottoms attract more strikes.
  4. Advantages less stretch, less lost fish copolymer. All I use is Excalibur silver thread copolymer line.
  5. The Orange colored bottom lures are hotter.
  6. Buy what you can afford, you can always upgrade down the road. A decent reel will fit any rod? But keep in mind we can fish with any setup but we need good quality line. Good luck in your journey.
  7. Since real wrenches are expensive what about the kids plastic wrenches with bass lure paint jobs? What do the bass recalling see in a wrench, or Buzzbait, or spinnerbait? Are deep sockets next? Lol
  8. Now I see a problem with upgrading my line test most of the spinning reels I use only recomemed up to 10 lb test. Now I want to go as high as 12lb, 14lb, & 17lb test. In thinking about this the wrap of the larger test line is too tight to preform well. Is it the same situation with casting reels with even smaller diameter spools? Do you stay within the specs on the reels? Pro's / con's....?..
  9. Couldn't play the video on my kindle fire HD but I switched to my I Pad no problem. Watched it. Thanks Glenn

  12. Lochnest? Lake Champlain champ? Alaska has another one the Hildebrand brothers went after it.
  13. This is no joke. Seen one in my neighbors field. Reddish hair color about 9' tall. When it seen me it covered 25 yards in a few steps. It was standing at the edge of the field in a group of trees if it didn't move I would of missed it. There's a bfro report of a night fisherman having a encounter at roraback,ct. It's not far from my new place. I've heard Bigfoot roars from my porch at night. At my camp in vt I had many encounters. Two of them woke me up they were outside at my window talking some gibberish language. By the time I got up they were gone. My place has the only watering hole. I hear rocks being banged together at 1am. Bigfoot are half human. There jokesters, playful. Curious. Do not hurt one. Read the story about the Russian farmer who shot one. Our government knows they are there. Somethings are better left alone. OMG were not on top of the food chain.???? I'm not scared. We still go for midnight rides on dirt bikes.
  14. Cutting there heads off dark fish from the top bass. Pike are long look like a swimming stick. Match the natural bait I use a rapala.
  15. On all my scoped rifles I use the BDC option on all my scopes. It's bullet drop compisation. From 100 yards to 500yds I can dope the scope. They come in different brands of scopes. I have the better older Bushnell scopes with this option. My m14 is getting the Bushnell banner scope with this option. Then all you need is a range finder. On a bet I hit a dime at 170yds with my 338wm. Rem. 700.
  16. I'm probably purchasing my last new rods and reels. I have enough tackle to last me another lifetime.
  17. There's over 20 million people there?

  19. There's a million more after his job. Don't shoot till he lowers the target. Know what's behind you target, looks like a parking garage or mall. Tell him the buddies he was drunk with last night shoot first. This is the way they insert depopulation control. Don't let the next inline see this. Anyone fleeing the line gets moved to the front it's your turn in the chair.
  20. If they do I'll place a big orderSend bps a message to bring back the topnocker.???
  21. Funny I was in Wal-Mart buying tackle years ago when a guy with his son walked up behind me at the register. The dad was a tad under the weather. He asked me where I fished. He went on to say about his son catching 10lb bass. But heckled me about telling me were it was. I know about most of the good fishing spots around me and hidden one too. The second he said it's deep in the woods I told him where it was not exactly but enough to say I knew the spot. He sobered up for a second and shut up. He kid looked shocked that I knew about it. This spot I don't tell. There is a six foot high Rocky ledge when you walk up to this pond. Off in a distance there are large black lines in the water moving. There big bass all over the place.
  22. The bogbaits lizzards showed up today. I have every large lizzard, mud puppy, nest raider made. Time to change tactics.
  23. I'm going to say this in hammering three spots every year what's really a hot bait this year might not be as hot next year. I'm seeing the hot baits change every year. The fish learns our baits? On a slow day change the flavor of your scent too. Ok try new baits. Be flexible. Try new different baits cheap, discounted, on clearance, on sale or expensive. We never know what will work. Take the blinders off and start trying different baits.
