  1. I am going sunday so I will just wait and see. I have 1 at least but I would like to get a couple more. Even if I call and they have them they may be gone by sunday just have to wait and see.
  2. I am going thru Nashville this weekend and was wondering if the BassProShop there had any. And if anybody has been in the Nashville store is it pretty good?
  3. About 2oz and no only 9in size.
  4. I havent timed it but around a ft every 3seconds is close I think. I would still stick with a steady retieve till fish show themselves.
  5. I have a little transom mount any trolling motor mechanics know if I can loosen the screw on the head and rotate the head of the trolling motor backwards. Its a newer Motorguide I think with the handle you twist to change speeds. Or do I need to buy a box mount that I can mount like a transom mount. Or do they make one. :-/
  6. Sound like putting a flat screen TV in an outhouse. ;D
  7. I go Loomis always. They have the best warranties and rarely stop making a model of rod. I honestly believe each companies has its strengths some make better crankin sticks some worm rods but Loomis makes good rods for everything. Just my 2 cents.
  8. I had a silverish kind a grey kind white crankbait with a orange belly it had two eyes and two treble hooks. The eyes were black and white. Any help?
  9. I havent tried them every way that was mentioned but it is still unbelievable that there werent any in the bass pro shop catalog. With all the stuff in the magazine they didnt have room for 1 chatterbait style lure.
  10. I bet it would work here in Kentucky. What with all the green and red shrimp we have floating around.
  11. LC BDS-1 with black spots on back and orange belly Sebile Magic Swimmer 128-Halo Greenie no megabass baits
  12. Fact is most people dont know how to fish a chatterbait. The pros were smart no one talked about it to much detail just "I throw them on this rod" or "throw them around grass or docks". It did win some FLW tournaments by the way. I won a small Gunterville tournament on one, finished in the money in another tournament, and finished 2nd in another 10 boat tournament. Those were the only 3 Gunterville tournaments I have fished. Not bad for a couple Kentucky boys going against the locals almost all done on a chatterbait. And after 1 day of prefishing and we only go there 4 days a year. And by the way I watched a DVR of the Bassmasters of Kentucky lake and KVD they even said several of his key fish came on a fat free shad. Not that it matters everybody has a sexy shad color now. Pros say this bait won the tournament when another bait catches half the fish my guess is sometimes they say something won while they threw a chatterbait alot. Also I know alot of the pros arent convinced it isnt a gimmic. :-X
  13. I got my new BassPro master catalog and their were 0 chatterbait style baits. Amazing people already gave up on them. Companies will still sell them but some will stop is my guess and not many new companies will come out with them. :'(
  14. Cant say I will buy any Yozuri swimbaits. I always thought they were the south bend of japaneze baits.
  15. I have caught some nice bass on muskie fishing with big spinnerbaits but I think the biggest bass spinnerbaits like ledge busters are about the biggest size you really need. There are muskie spinnerbaits that size that work good for bass.
  16. Exactly what you are looking for. Just noticed these at a local store the other day. http://www.venomlures.com/venom_shakee_head.htm Yamamoto makes one I mentioned earlier pretty sure thats what you saw in the FLW.
  17. Your in Rhode freakin Island just go with some Magic Swimmers. Check my review you cant go wrong with these they are cheap durable and easy to cast. If you need a bigger swimbait use a Bigger Swimmer they are still light for the size.
  18. Just the colors I think. And maybe the hooks are better on one or the other. The new fat free shads are OK but they were best when they were made by Excalibur.
  19. UV weakens mono so you never know. I retie after I get hung up or after any decent fish. But I also check my line often. Also check you rod. If you get a rough spot in one of you guides it will nick up your line. Check it by going around each guide with a Qtip any nick will catch cotton.
  20. For a good weekend trip go to Cave Run in Kentucky the muskie capitol of the south. Its only a couple hrs away. Lakes are alot better than creeks and rivers this time of year.
  21. Bills break you gotta be careful. I broke two luck craft bills the same day. :'(
  22. You didnt mention the deepest diving crankbait there is. The 3/4 oz hot lips express by LurJensen. Also Lucky Craft makes some good deep divers. But the best are WEC crankbaits. I said too much. :-X
  23. I just use the Fuji disposable camera. $10 and it usually last the year. Also I can keep it in my tacklebox and I am not worried about losing it. And it takes great pictures as well.
  24. I usually get a new rod and reel if I need one when I get a decent amount of cash. You can pick up a bait here and there all year but you only get so many chances to get a rod or reel.
  25. Where did you send them to get them replaced? I bought mine from strike king. I agree they do catch fish but I think there may be better options.
