  1. Had an old one for cranks and liked it. Have a new Burner and like it as well. The new ones are very comfortable and even though the old ones we a bit tall, they are too. The new ones are a big improvement and I hope they keep getting better
  2. They are great shallow divers, good for running over shallow submerged grass and structure.
  3. Again I say, at least they had the sense to use foam instead of cork
  4. They have fast actions but it varies within the series. I have a 7'MH small swimbait/senko special and a 7'H jig/toad/c-rig and I like the H much more. The MH is ok for smaller contact baits but feels a bit weak above 1/2oz, contact or spinner baits. It also has a slower action than the H, not too noticeable but slower non the less. The H excels with 1/4-3/4 t-rigs and jigs, it's strong but not a broomstick.
  5. 7'M is the cranking rod of the lineup. I've handled it in store and would be very happy with it.
  6. he sent me an email today with an order for a new Dobyns Savvy Series Rod....how'd he get my paypal info? :
  7. Baby Bass, not the watermelon/creme laminate.
  8. I seriously doubt that anyone who bought a vendetta, bought it under the assumption that Ike would be fishing them at the classic. There are gonna be guys fishing the new Duckett rods and Skeet will be fishing the tessera rods, doesn't mean I'm gonna go buy one.
  9. I was a member of it last year, I'm sure there will be one. I'm not big on the set up this year with the A, B, and C groups.
  10. I think its funny that Pantera61 posted this as a question, like "does anyone else have any info?" but ends up giving all the info and answering the questions.
  11. I think they are similar, the sworming hornet head just has a small spin blade on it, but both have the lip that gives it the wobble.
  12. They seem great for shallow lakes but pointless if the average water you fish is more than 10'
  13. I've got a sign that has a river-runt and midgit digit that look like small versions of that bait but have never heard of them and have no idea how to use them. Maybe it has instructions on the package like a spook.
  14. My point is they all do, hot sauce is a good lube, never had a problem. I use reel butter now and like it but that's cause that's what was available when I needed it.
  15. It does, it gets really thick and gummy in cold and spreads too thin when hot
  16. I use a Plano Prolatch Deep Stowaway that I bought at walmart.
  17. At least Abu had the sense to give it foam grips, the cork on the Duckett rods just turns my stomach.
  18. Second Hands Lions and American History X are two great movies that are high on my list. I also really like Hard Candy, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and The Notebook. Avatar and the Lovely Bones are two notables for this year.
  19. Congrats, got mine in 2002.
