  1. Looks really good, don't have any in that color but I'll be getting some.
  2. Aarons Magic was the fisrt roboworm I tried and I'll always have that color now, it's a really good color, don't know why but it works. I also like the baby bluegill, Green Weenie, Hologram Shad, and Salt & Pepper Chart.
  3. I buy most of my stuff online. I have been lucky to purchase some rods that were exactly what I wanted. It may sound funny but I have bought rods instore that I loved but didn't care too much for them when I actually started fishing with them. Most of the rods I bought weren't available to me to try around here, rods like the Damiki Dark Angel, Lucky Craft Cranking rod, Daiwa Zillion, and Dodyns rods. Others I have fished with friends rods that were similar. In all I actually have to say that I have one rod that I don't care for that I bought sight unseen, other than that, I have been lucky.
  4. yeah...there's no way they're 10's but man are they big regardless.
  5. 7'M-MH is what you'll want. I have a 7'M Damiki Dark Angel and a 7'MH Abu Garcia Vendetta. I wouldn't recommend the Vendetta, kinda unbalanced and heavy. For me, the Dark Angel is everything I wanted in a good spinning rod, I use it for all contact applications. You may want to look at the BPS Pro Qualifier as well.
  6. I have a Lucky Craft Crankbait rod that is $150 w/ free shipping from TW. I would recommend these rods to anyone looking for a new crankbait rod. Lots of people say that it's too much to spend on a crankbait rod and I thought that as well but after fishing it this year, I could not go back to a BPS Crankin Stick ever again.
  7. I used it for about 3 trips last year as deep crank line and went back to cxx. It's very smooth and limp and has great castability but it wasn't abrasion resistant enough for where I use it. One of the spots I fish deep cranks is around a bridge and the line gets pretty chewed up after about 4 casts and the suffix frayed and broke to easy. I still have it on my jerkbait/shallow crank rod and it's great for that.
  8. Ya I mean seriously what's with all those horrible Tennessee hats he wears. Hey easy on the TN hat....That is probably the most valuable item in his boat. ;D Hold on now....it maybe up there but he always has a bottle of KVD L&L and BTS
  9. Yup, he can walk down that path with Skeet Reese who dumped his rod contract to go with a real no-name rod company or Greg Hackney who dumped his boat company to go with a less known boat company. Wright & McGill are a no name company? : Rod wise? C'mon, now. Compared to Lamiglas? Prior to Skeet signing with them, how many people were running around with Wright and McGill bass rods? Skeet put them on the map. I believe Ike will give a boost, a little "street cred" to Abu rods. ok....I'll give ya that, I've heard they make a darn good fly rod though. They really weren't associoated with bass fishing, as far as I know, other than Eagle Claw.

  11. I don't see why this is a big deal. From what I understand, he was let go from daiwa, if that's true, why not sign with Abu, he already is sponsored by Berkley. It's kinda like he's a free agent that signed with another team.
  12. just fizzes and dissolves.
  13. My dad bought a 100 bag of Junebug power worms in the 90's, I found that 1/4 used bag of worms when I first started fishing and still have about half of them and they still stink.
  14. I love the live target baits, I need to get some of the bluegill before spring
  15. Elaztech melts when mixed with other baits, I had some SK Zulus in a box and some how a duper fluke got thrown in there last year...it was a mess.
  16. Mattlures bluegills are top notch and really realistic looking high end little cheaper there are a lot of makers to chose from, just don't buy one of these
  17. Yes, that is exactly how I use mine. It's paired with a carrot stix gold. It's one of my favorite setups.
  18. There are 3 small shops around here, only one in town, another is about 45min away, and the other a little farther at the backwaters of Lake Cumberland, about 1:25. They all have their +s, one being 2 mins away, the one 45min sells a lot of BPS gear , and the other has a larger selection of lures including Megabass, Jackall, LC, Revenge, Omega and a butt load of local companies, plus they are a Powell and Shimano dealer.
  19. Dave, if you are able to get your hands on one please lets know your thoughts. I would like to here how they compare to the Champions.
  20. I've had a set of these for around 6 years, first got them to open up my PS2 and now use them on my reels but that set doesi interest me. http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-66-052-6-Piece-Precision-Screwdriver/dp/B00009OYGV
  21. I'm gald it's over and done with, I'm sure there are many that aren't so happy.
  22. I think the whole state froze last night.
  23. I like em both but gave Elite the vote, it may stretch a bit more but I only use it for spinning and cranking.
