  1. Really like those, that first one reminds me of an old Lee Sisson bait I have
  2. Depends on what size a where. I use 7'H Kistler Magnesium for 1/2oz and under 705 7'Mag-H Powell for larger jigs in light cover 766 7'6"H Powell for heavy cover I forgot about smaller jigs 7'M Daiwa Zillion and 7'MH Damiki Dark Angel for jigs 1/4oz and smaller
  3. $456 I am sorry but that is kind of weak. May just be my opinion but he could of shelled out alot more than that. He could have paid more, sure enough, but it was an eBay auction. He outbid everybody else. I'm sure he would have too, the article said he wanted to contribute, but I guess no one else wants to pay $456 for ikes chin mold. Very interesting auction. to both of them.
  4. I am fine with redbox, the one thing that I like about netflix is the availability of tv shows and and older movies and one that may be a little more obscure.
  5. I don't understand the fascination by some to have a short, ML-L rod for dropshotting. I've heard a lot of people say the like a shorter, lighter rod. What's the advantage? Personally I would go 7'M-F/XF
  6. I have a pack of the Big Show Paddle tails somewhere, I've never really fished them though. I would say C-rig, T-rig, or weightless wouldn't be a bad way to start.
  7. A buddy of mine recently got me interested in Revenge and I must say I really like them. I like Bleeding Hart, SK, and Booyah as well.
  8. I really like Roboworm, Zoom is hard to beat with their selection though
  9. It is does that make a difference :-?
  10. put all the tackle together and cover it with a sheet....should be fine
  11. Great baits, worth the $15 but even better at $10. All baits run 0-4' and the numbers refer to the size of the baits, 0.5 baits are tiny, 1.5 are 2", 2.5 are 2-3/4", and 3.5 are 3-1/4''. BTW, all the info is on the BPS website you posted.
  12. I think chegg.com is a rental place
  13. I used to fish for cats with my dad at a little lake that numerous fish of the same size, no limit on size or numbers and harvesting was encouraged. He would go 2-3x a month at first, night fishing, we lived about 2-3 hours from the lake, and come back with coolers full of 4-8lb cats, the best night I remember was somewhere around the 60's. Went that way for a good 5-6 years and eventually slowed. They're still there bigger ones are scarce but there are some big ones there.
  14. I don't do much frog fishing but I like Powell Max rods.....plus it's got a little froggy on it ;D
  15. I had good luck with amazon. I bought a $75 on there for $ .03 + $5.99 shipping
  16. I saw that the other day and was wondering the same thing
  17. Maybe they should have said "You're going to hear a lot about CarbonLite as it far exceeds OUR current technology in rod design." I would believe that statement. But IMO it looks like it might be a nice rod for the price. Definitely LOOKS neat but we all know looks can be deceiving. If I were to seen it on the racks I definitely would at least pick it up
  18. That's one thing I thought about, sending some of my best baits from this year. That is precisely what I did. Hawk, the package is on it's way. I decided to too....
  19. I bought some from -nick- awhile back and i'm not all that impressed by the "laser" but the "lure" is good. The shallow divers have a nice wide wobble and look great. One thing that I think you are overlooking is that it's not a "laser" but rather a red LED. Unless it's really close to something, you're not gonna get a reflection or a spot like a laser pointer. The bait actually acts as the spot and not the source of the laser as it lights up the front of the bait and part of the bill. You won't get a spot reflection because the light is not focused like a traditional "laser", but rather a blinking LED.
  20. Fuego without a doubt. I'm not too keen on the aggrest, it seems ok but I can't help thinking that it looks just like a strikeforce. I also don't get the hyperspeed gimmick
  21. I like them, they still come on fat free shads. The one thing I don't like are that they are bronze and from my own experiences with rusting, I am not to fond of bronze hooks
