  1. No, the line does not go over the bar. That is there to hold the palm side plate on
  2. Blue Bell homemade ice cream, it's the ice cream on the cake. The tip of the top, the cream of the crop, its like having your own ice cream shoppe. Blue bell homemade ice cream, homemade country style, cause Blue Bell, is better by a country smile. never heard of it :
  3. I have fished a 7'MH Bionic Blade and the sensitivity is lacking. It wasn't the worst but I have fished better. I fished mostly tubes with the 7'MH, the bite is kinda muted, I prefer the Pro Qualifier for contact baits as far as BPS rods go.
  4. I've never fished the Citca but do have two Curado's and from what I have heard, the performance of the Citica isn't far behind the Curado. I don't think it would be a bad choice at all.
  5. The mojo's have gotten alot of love here, there aren't gonna be the end all, be all rod at under $100 dollars but definitely seem worth the money.
  6. The vendetta and vengence rods are supposedly factory balanced for revos, I assume the sx by the colors of the vendetta. That's 2+ ounces on the core so it's gonna be a bit tip heavy but i'm sure it's fishable. I too am interested in the sensitivity, but that's all subjective. Many people say the mojo rods are sensitive, others not so much. Ofcourse it's not gonna be as sensitive as rod 2-3x the price but it's good to see this price range being explored. I think the big thing to worry about is durability. The guys at tackle tour have had some hands on experience and say the foam will indent with constant pressure over time.
  7. There is also one of the vendetta rods, 7'MH I think, that says "My Rod" where the specs should be. Definitely a nice looking rod for the money, wonder how it performs. Just one ?, how many guides does it have?
  8. Huh. :-? ...... What's wrong with a dual braking system? It's great for beginners. It allows having a set cent brake with the extra adjustability and refinement with the mag. I really don't wanna hear the added weight or if you're good you don't need it. I would say dual braking is the way to go for a beginner. As for a combo for around $100, the bps extreme combos are good, right now the daiwa black widow is on sale at ***. You match that up with a new abu vengence, you're looking at 120 or so.
  9. I take it they will be priced along the lines of the Perch so if you are wanting one, there's no better time and might I add....
  10. Is he the one who dresses up in a rabbit outfit and leaves pictures of shimano's under your pillow? I just lost a tooth, I could use another Curado E7
  11. bingo....P-Line CX is pretty good and so is YZ hybrid
  12. You hear some JDM reel talk around every now and then, not so much about rods though. For me, no warranty is an issue with JDM rods more so than reels. It's easy to slip up and damage or break a rod and with no backing, that's a huge loss. I have a Daiwa Alphas 103 and with proper care the non warranty isn't really an issue.
  13. I would say a Pflueger President or Supreme spinning reel paired with a St. Croix Avid, Kistler Magnesium, or Powell Max.
  14. Even though you may not hear of them being used, spinnerbaits and older techniques are still in play and heavily relied upon. It's true there are many newer techniques in the forefront but the old reliables are still there.
  15. I have used it a few times. My dad bought some fluorescent blue for cheap to use at night. It seems ok, I have used 12 and 15lb with descent success and no problems.
  16. Those are some nice swimmers
  17. Cold pizza gets eaten before anything else. Also like leftover chinese, spaghetti, chili, and a thanksgiving meal or 2.
  18. In Kentucky, from what I have read and seen, this is only illegal in the Cumberland River, below the Wolf Creek Dam. If somebody knows that this is illegal in Laurel River Lake let me know, and I'll stop. Thanks for the heads up though. I have never heard anything about it being illegal here in KY. I've chummed for trout and carp
  19. Matches almost perfectly with an E21 Carrot Gold Stix
  20. I use All Star Titaniums and Platinums which also have the raised hump. I like that feature as well though many others don't. I hear most people say the don't like it but can't see what advantage you get from it
  21. I can't see any advantage in comparison with full cork but they look good ;D
