  1. Pretty nice fish...that second picture is quiet a stretch
  2. It seems like there is always a bigun that came out of where you are not too long ago....A guy at walmart told me and a buddy that he liked to dropshot the cliffs of a lake we were about to fish...said he caught a 13lber not too long before drop shotting 80ft of water....just FYI, the lake record isn't near 13lbs...can't remember at the moment but it would be a stretch to say it's a double digit and if it is, its 11lbs at the most. :-?
  3. I have a code and like it....far surpassed it now though. It's not worth the $120 at Walmart but I got it for $80 and it has lasted and done me well. Depending on how much you have to spend there are some good deals in the Flea Market here if you keep your eye out.
  4. What type of braid are planning on using? I had a buddy that used Stren Super Braid for a few years on an extreme with no ill effects. He switched to power pro and it chewed the Fuji Hardloys on the extreme up.
  5. A 'weightless' senko weighs d**n near 1/2 oz. heavy bait it is indeed
  6. Is that very last crank a walley....nice
  7. Chicken liver....I dont use a treble hook though....just a 1/0 bait holder, let them swallow it good and swing for the fences
  8. If you are not familiar with the working of ebay you can get taken, even those very familiar can be ripped, so I would suggest taking a look here as roadwarrior said. Be cautious, even here, get to know some of these guys a bit and you can sorta judge who will do you right
  9. I have a few packs and have caught fish on them. I usually fish them on a shakey head but have fished them T-rigged, weightless and wacky. An alright bait, gives the appearance and action of a tube with a longer, slender profile
  10. Palomar, 24/7. Most def
  11. Or even easier (but more costly) take two of the terminator quick skirts and glue them in place. Never thought of that one... *** sells the EZ skirts for a descent price
  12. Daiwa Sols are on sale some places for less than $200
  13. I really like the new energy. I have a burner model on a Powell 705c that I use for jigs and t-rigs in sparce cover. A great improvement over the older models, much tighter, smoother, and lighter. A great reel, the only thing I don't like is the ACS II system as compared to the infinite ACS braking.
  14. I have two Kistler Magnesiums and really like them. I have a 7'H and 7'MH. They are pretty light and sensitive. I have a friend that has both magnesiums and a helium LTA and says he prefers the magnesium.
  15. Probably one of the biggest problems for some with pflueger. I would say browse ebay for a NIB supreme...I got one this past winter for spinnerbaits and love the reel. http://cgi.ebay.com/NIB-PFLUEGER-PFL-SUPREME-LP-BAITCAST-FISHING-REEL-LEFT_W0QQitemZ370243391026QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item563439ce32&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

  17. I don't know if I have ever seen a Crankin' Stick combo on sale which is surprising, they sell almost everything else in combo form.
  18. looks to me like its a snug fit
  19. double your price and you may find a decent one
  20. yep....smuggled over for asian markets and restaurants...a mighty tastey meal, so I've heard
  21. small crappie tubes fished under a bobber are good too
  22. I have never used a Revolution Shad, but I have actually heard some positive things about the swimming abilities of the bait. I believe Randall (member here) prefers the RS to the Spro. have both a RS Revolution Shad and Bluegill and well....they're junk, both swim on their sides at anything other than a slow crawl, wouldn't waste the money. I like the 4'' TT, Spro, King Shads, and the Sexy and Magic Swimmers. I have an H2O but haven't fished it yet
  23. This is discussed over and over again....there's no set way you should fish. To me left handed baitcasters feel awkward. It's preference really
