  1. here are some places that sell blanks www.jannsnetcrat.com www.lurepartsonline.com and theres another that sells LC RC and DT blanks but I cant remember the name
  2. My favorite finesse worm is the Roboworm straight tail. *** and zoom finesse worms are good as well
  3. I've been using 10lb P-line Flouro-clear for those applications and have had no problems. It stretches a bit more than CXX which I normally use. I would also say 10lb CX or yo-zuri hybrid or 8lb CXX.
  4. The Picasso Shakedowns are pretty nice jigs heads.
  5. Senkos, crappie jigs and small tubes, shallow cranks are good too like a manns baby 1 minus.
  6. A medium is probably more versatile than a lighter rod.
  7. I use CXX from 8-20lb and really like it. I have not had many managabilty issues with it in any size on baitcasting gear. Any line will give you trouble if you over fill your spool.

  9. I use a 7'm damiki dark angel for my finese fishing with an energy 30 Pti-A and really like it. It's one of the best spinning rods I have ever used. Very light and sensitive. They are $179 I believe at TW.
  10. I use a Sol on a 6'10"MH carrot stix gold for shallow-mid cranks and a Curado E5 on a Lucky Craft 7'MH for deeper cranks. Both these setups are great and would recommend both. I really like the Lucky Craft rods, they are fiberglass but are rather light and sensitive.
  11. Well the reel is an Inshore Extreme and the rod is a bruit. They are heavy setups. Never fished them but have felt them instore
  12. Some wal-marts around here still have them for full price....and even have the curado D for $220
  13. not a bad choice at all....I use 10lb CXX for this application
  14. As many will say, it's not so much the ratio and more about the IPT of the reel. Higher IPT means more line per crank making the bait move faster.
  15. 6 lb. CXX on spinning tackle is just fine. I fish everything from 8-25 lb. on casting tackle and don't have ANY problems. I highly recommend the line for anyone who values strength and abrasion resistance. I fished CXX exclusively for several years. For those interested in the 2nd best line you can buy, I highly recommend CXX, too. My only issue with P-Line is manageability in cold weather. I fish for smallmouth October through March and the CXX simply has too much memory to fish. The higher pound test lines exacerbate the problem. 8-) No argument there, it is less manageable than other lines but it makes up for it in strength. I recently thought I'd try braid for flipping, fished it for 4 hours or so and off it went and was replaced by 20lb CXX, never felt better about a decision in my life. I tend to shy away from P-Line on spinning tackle, I use 10lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid for that but baitcasting gets CXX. It may be less manageable but when 12lb line will straighten a hook and pull up a 30lb log, I'll take a little extra coil
  16. Untrue....I have fished 10'' worms on as small as 2/0 and it works just fine, true a larger hook is better but it's not set in stone. All you have to do is rig the hook further doen on the worm with more of the head up on the line.
  17. I've got a setup that I started fishing on. A 6'6''M Lightening Rod a Mitchell Avocet. The Avocet is a great cheap reel and the Lightening rod is a great cheap rod. A good beginner combo for a little over $50 from walmart.
  18. Casting: 6'10''MH Carrot Stix Gold with a Daiwa Sol Spinning: 7'M Damiki Dark Angel with a Quantum Energy PTi-A 30
  19. Couldn't agree more. I have a 705c and have fished the 704. Compares really close to the Kistler Magnesium 7'Mag H
  20. Hmmm....I've not heard the new song. As soon as I get off work I'll have to check it out.
  21. I took it apart and I think that's it...thanks...much appreciated
  22. It's going to be a good fight for the top....they are so close
  23. Is Carls Jr the west coast version of Hardees here in the east...saw a carls jr commercial once that was exactly like a Hardees commercial. We have a Dairy Queen in my hometown that is an independent entity and not a part of the Brazier chain. The food there is great. Totally different menu than the chain stores and their hotdog sauce is amazing.
  24. hve some zoom lizards in CC....look really nice in clear water but never caught anything....but I dont really fish lizards that much
