  1. The tender tubes are my favorite product. The single color tubes are the best, soft, salty, and great tail action. I also like the XPS weedless tube jigs, the XPS series of cranks, and the lasereye spinnerbaits. I really like the cranks for the price, especially the deep-divers. I really like the action and color selection.
  2. I bought some of the deep divers a while back when they were on closeout. They seem like a well made crank, solid construction, good components. I would say they are well worth the $4
  3. It's on paper that they do but instore experience varies. It's like pulling teeth to get the BPS in Cincinnati to match their own prices from the website since apparently they are two seperate entities and the computers at customer service don't have Internet so they can check prices, and for anywhere else, you have to have a print out, they have to have a physical address, and sales don't count. Someone here said they don't match *** because it's not in appropriate driving distance to the physical address
  4. You Florida guys absolutely suck. Here in ky it feels like we missed the transition. Went from 80's to upper 50's lower 60's in about two weeks
  5. I would go with the 705, the 704 is great for casting 1/4-3/8oz jigs and texas rigs around light cover but gets a little bogged down with 1/2oz and up, it's no broom stick. The 705 seems to be better around cover with heavier baits, slightly heavier than the 704 but still extremely fishable and a great rod.
  6. A great rod, not the best for flipping and pitching heavy jigs or weights around cover. Even though it's a H, it's not a flipping stick, a great rod for fishing T-rigs, casting lighter jigs, and spinnerbaits.
  7. Of the rods you mentioned, I would go with the Powell, I have a 705c and a 766 and have fished a 704c, all great rods, the 704c is a great all around rod, labeled heavy but is closer to the heavier side of a MH, if that makes any sense. I have handled the Bucoo, Mojo, and tessera rods. Of those three I would go with the Bucoo, it's the lightest and best feeling rod of the bunch, can't really comment on the sensitivity of any of them. The vendetta rods look promising though
  8. I bought one pack if the stinking minnows around 2 years, still have half the pack left....they're all shrunken and shriveled now...never had a bite on them
  9. I think all versions come with a flppin switch too
  10. I wouldn't even consider the Purist, the others would be good choices, I have a code and it's a good reel....didn't you already post this?
  11. Yo-Zuri Snapbeans....$6.99 and Wal-Mart for two....one of teh best panfish lures
  12. Not really, I have my best success on these baits running them over submurged grass and structure
  13. If not Pflueger specifically, probably one of the same plants that Pure Fishing uses.
  14. I use an 1/8 oz jerk bait alot and can cast it pretty far and easy with my Sol
  15. From the Extreme up seem to be pretty nice reels. I had an old Pro Qualifier that was a nice reel and a buddy who used to fish with alot of the older extremes and liked them.
  16. The best upgrade is already available in the dual braking of the Premier and STX
  17. On my Damiki Dark Angel/Stradic CI4 I have 8lb P-Line Flouro-clear, 10lb Yo-zuri on my Energy spinning reel, used on my Damiki for bank fishing, and 12lb Flouro-clear on my Daiwa Zillion/Alpha 103

  19. I have heard the Ultra XL is a bit weak at the tip, no experience with them though. The Citica would be a good choice, a 6.x:1 is a good all around gear ratio. As for rods in that price range, I'm partial to the Powell Max and Kistler Magnesium rods but there are a lot of choices in that price range, even more if you watch ebay for a deal. I would suggest you try to physically hold the rod and reel if possible to see if it is a good match for you. You are the only one that knows if you like something or not or will be able to fish it.
  20. I really like the baby -1 minus. It was my producer yesterday in ghost shad. I was fishing about 6-8' of water weeds about a foot under the surface, the perfect place for this bait. Had a few fish on a straight retrieve but the most fish came from running it into the grass and letting it float up.
  21. I usually use one of my cranking setups, either a 6'10''MH Gold Carrot Stix with a Daiwa Sol or a 7'MH Lucky Craft with a Curado E5.
  22. he says it's not a "throwing" bait
  23. I associate "finesse jigs" with the spider skirt, or half skirt with small amount of collar....not sure what really qualifies a jig as finesse
  24. The problem I see is that ebay doesn't handle it's own finances, at least I don't think they do, that's why they created paypal. I also don't think they allow outside deals like that to be made.
