New waders, new rod....nice

Just told thid one the other day. Fishing with Dirk, we approached an area that has a huge rock in the middle. For some reason, it never holds fish, hasn't for yrs and still doesn't. But this one day, we pull in and I say to Dirk...."There's one on each side of the rock, you want the right or the left?" No answer so I cast right. FISH I get him in real quick (small guy) and said "are you gonna be stubborn or do you want the other one?" No reply Cast again-left FISH. We've caught 1 fish there since then. Odd rock that one is, but something was telling me those fish were there that day.

Michelle has had a 20 yr history of stomach problems with diagnosis' ranging from colitis to you name it. After many diets, they noticed that she wasn't able to fully digest meats, this was making her intestines twist. So she cut meat out for like 4-5 yrs. All those years, all those doctors, all the missed parties and uncomfortable stomach pains and a simple pill makes it all better. Just a story I thought I'd relate. But yea,I eat all meats except Lamb. Don't really like that one. Beef Filet's, pulled pork, Thinly pounded veal and venison are some of my favorites.

I have a small bottle of the KVD stuff. I'm testing it for a review (y'all know I can be bluntly honest). I specifically did not change line this yr because I wanted to see how it does on old stuff. What I have on my Tierra is perfect,...Low Budget Ande outback blue, you can spool a reel for $1.43 ;D. I fished a very cold day with Matt 5.0 and the eyes on his carrot stick were freezing (frozen carrots??) Mine were fine,..no ice build up. So far that's one checkmark in the "+" column. So far, so good, we were even joking about it because my buddy made us late because he had to respool before we left. Needless to say, He spent time "managing" his line, I spent time taking advantage of his down time. I'll give that 1/2 a "+"
