  1. Saturday,...no terminal tackle box, oops....thank God I hadn't cleaned the boat from last yr,....lifted the floor deck and Voila! 4/0 EWG ;D Yesterday, Massholemike spins around and asks me for a hook. I reached down and grabbed the same hook, still in the fluke from the day before, lol.
  2. No Ronnie, he said I would have to share the boat with you for a day or two. I griped,...kicked sand, spit on the ground ........he wouldn't budge. SHOTGUN! ;D
  3. Sorry, I booked him for the week last Tuesday 8-) now THAT'S dedication to the cause!! ;D
  4. Sorry, I booked him for the week last Tuesday 8-)
  5. I've caught them that size,....but we call them stripers and yellowfin, lol
  6. lol,...at 4mph, we've yet to leave any Minn Kota lower units on any sand bars or humps.,lol I know every speck of this particular lake. I should have been more specific. I'm speaking strictly about my home lake. I'm not going to go to a place like Fork and not turn the thing on..... : ;D
  7. Dude, they'd have to make a special auger blade just for you.... :
  8. My turn, My turn!! My stuff is VERY amateur. All stuff that "a guy fishin'" can stumble across. I think nature/scenery/wildlife has to be the easiest topic to get good pics for, you just need to be out there experiencing it and mother nature does the rest. Composition and such is achieved much easier with Mom nature helping IMO. I took class once that made me realize 1 thing. It's very easy to "capture" a pic, very hard to "create" one. Anyway,...some amazing new ones here guys!!! Some of mine are older and have been seen here before but a few may be new to some so I'll throw some up anyway. 9. I have to agree with him to a point. I personally feel many folks WAY overthink fisdhing. Either something has to be a certain brand (or it wont work), a certain color (or it won't work) or used by "Joe Pro" (or it wont work) Let's take "hooks" for example. I get a kick out of seeing folks go back and forth over which hook is better...... I say it all the time,....the Indians got it done with braided husk and a piece of bone. If you blame a tourny loss on the fact that you had X-points instead of Gammies,.......you have BIGGER fishing issues than hook choice. I think Over-thinking is a thing CREATED by fisherman, lol Another example would be the fishfinder. I don't use one for freshwater, I will on a new body but not on my lake, no need for it. Saltwater is a different story, the finder on my previous boat ran me almost 5k. It was a necessary tool for catching Giant Bluefin Tuna. If I were a traveling tournament angler, I would only have the best of the best but to find the LM in a 230 acre lake,....we don't bother with electronics.
  10. "The Daily Buzz" is a hip news shows out of Florida. They have a segment where folks can send in weather pics. I sent them a folder of 10 pics or so and they wrote back saying that they LOVED them and are going to feature 1/day for the whole week.
  11. Don't own a truck,...never had a g/f leave me for a brother or my father,....I just can't relate to country music.
  12. Never heard of it Cart, link?
  13. Tell him to start at 9". Try it, If still a bit high, the 7" will do it, that's what mine are. PS-PM Sent
  14. Issues here too. Reported, thanks.
  15. Looks awesome, especially those seats on the stock color. I looked into those mounts before too. My 2 concerns with those were that you have to cut a hole in the bench and you have to mount it directly to the swivel. No Pedestal. The only ones made for these mounts are too tall. A 7" pedestal is the height you want when putting it on top of the bench seat so it's not too top heavy but your knees don't hit the bench seat and I think the pedestals for that kind of mount started at 13" when I was looking at doing mine. The large footprint is key though. Love it. Tell Rick it's time to visit the relatives, they were opening the summer house today
  16. marketing 101, you bit the bait Now there's a thought
  17. Cause that's his taste. I hate country, my grandmother hates rock.
  18. It was probably me being sloppy. :
  19. Not the most eloquent way to put it but you sure did nail it! ;D
  20. Thanks JT I was editing in there so I unlocked it in case I did it by accident. If it gets locked again, we can safely assume Glenn has his reasons It is unlocked now.
  21. I was given a bicycle and a directive- Be home by the time the streetlights come on. You just can't do that anymore. Sadly, society has become one which is denying our kids the liberties and freedoms of previous generations.
  22. It would be more than cool, it would be an honor.
  23. At least you got on them over on that one bank, thats a sweet string to put together in short time. 8-) ps-I dated a girl who's dad looked just like you,....this is going back a few yrs,...God did he scare the crap outta me,lol. I saw the first pic and almost instinctually hid in the closet ;D
  24. Same as on land,...cold lobster tails in warm butter That would be my favorite,.... my most realistic would be the tried and true PB&J. Good solid energy food.
