OK to remove bench but you must make up for it with bracing to replace the structural integrity. Torsional twist can tweak an aluminum boat. When you build your compartments, make sure the framing goes completely from one side to the other to replace the bracing that the bench once supplied.

Yea,...that was great,...nothing I like more when I have about 135-140 stops left on my truck is a "Good Buddy" calling in a report,lmao. It's not you Muddy, EVERYONE does it. I have been averaging 1 to 2 MK endura 55's PER YEAR for the last 3 yrs. Enough is enough. First the speed switch in the handle goes and if you don't replace it ($40 if u do yourself) then it somehow screws up other things that make the whole unit turn into a smoke bomb at 3am. But only on the day that the paddle is in the "other" boat,lol. I'm very hard on equipment.

Matt- Mike and I got to chatting about you. I explained where you were and where you are and he was blown away. Don't discount yourself, you've had some hogs on this year, landing them will come with experience but finding them is the hard part. You've come a long way in a short time, I think that learning the jig FIRST has made you better than you think you are. You can now apply that jig knowledge to many other baits. Our girls are in for some battles next year! Mike,...it was (cough) 10 to 4 (cough) lol.....but as you'll constantly remind me,....you got the big one.

That's a great northern bass! I would guess it's on the 4 lb line, could fall to either side.

I use spinning about 75% of the time. The only thing I disagree with is when folks say that casting is stronger ,....getting fish out of weeds/brush, etc. Nonsense. I have spinning reels that will pull a boat! I would upgrade the spinning set up and keep putting time in on the baitcaster. You'll know when you are at a level where it is justified to upgrade that combo.
