  1. Getting the names and stuff put on, it will run you roughly $500. For real. all files need to be converted, etc. The shirt alone is about $80 I think.
  2. Too much to say about nothin',...I'm sticking with cigar smoke ;D
  3. Ain't that always the way!! ;D Great job guys, some sweet fish!!
  4. Stay on 'em Jim!!!
  5. there are 3 tutorials in the FAQ's to teach the 3 different ways to add pics. multiples, singles and avatars
  6. I have been on Robert about this almost every day. His G/F suggested that I look into doing videos for OTHER people and I explained that when it isn't "You", there isn't much interest. So this is a test for me. I plan on (trying) to make a video for these guys with all the footage and stills that come back. We'll see how it goes.
  7. You're hanging with the wrong group of guys (btw-nice pup )
  8. I grew up and still live on the Ocean (Rhode Island---But I hear you know this already, lol) different world, same passion (fresh/salt) Many things transfer or translate but they are 2 different worlds for sure
  9. Known as a "Cuttyhunk Chunk", you pack the tube of the squid with the Butterfish and sew the tube partially shut (works like a chum bag). Another common way to combine them is to thread them down to the hook, butterfish first, and then slide down the squid so it looks like the squid is trying to eat or carry the butterfish.
  10. I know when I visited, you had a whole line up of what was going to Brazil (equipment) and what was staying home. With the recent influx of gear, what is the line up now? What do plan on bringing and do you have specific stuff to throw with each?
  11. Because you don't want too much moisture around a fishing reel,.......................... : IMHO, this is one of the ugliest rods I've ever seen but then when you put that pixy on it,....well, ....not so bad. What happened to the redline creel of "I may not catch fish,...but I'll look d@mn sexy trying"???? (I know, that's what the Ranger full of Evergreens, Kistler's, Steez's, Loomis's and Croix's are for :)) Definitely a big plus on my trip was getting to try every high end stick and reel out there. Some cool stuff. The line-up has changed considerably in only 1 month,....what will next year hold?? (reminds me of the old "demo days" when I used to ski. The general public got to actually ski on next years product. Often skis they could never afford to buy so at least they got to see what they were missing, lol.)
  12. my mistake, I thought you said it was a 40hp. Re-vamping motor covers is a full time business around here, lol.

Great to have you back in the game man!! I would think, especially with the way WM has been shifting their fishing inventory between stores, that these are simply lures that have been sitting for a good long time. Nice find, I prefer the heddon version myself but they all work. (yup, and pretty much in ANY color ) (My ever increasing opinion, lol) Color is bunk. So, how did the shoulder react to an hour of casting? Feelin it today? Heal up buddy PS- why is the picture SOOOO clear??? You starting something new?? ;D
  14. Way to tough it out BJ. Fishing in the rain is just a blast. Having a high quality jacket like that doesn't hurt the comfort level either!! I hope we have made a "foul weather fisherman" out of you!
  15. Poor thing just has a bad underbite. He probably has a lisp too. I see a speech therapist in that guys future! ;D :
  16. Let's stay on topic folks, this isn't about light fishing line, it's about ornery old folks ,......like frogtog ;D I learned the ocean from an old salt. He is leaving us soon, stage 4 cancer. This man was a main influence in making fishing what it is for me today. Here's to Capt. Bill Mancini
  17. I think your grand slam is right here,...the internet. There are rod building forums, tacklemaking forums, etc I don't think there is anything better than having the guys that have been doing it for years telling you first hand how to do it and answer questions as you go along. Have you done some in depth searching, by project?
  18. On the thread about "mend it" glue, I laid claim that the guy in the video was a guy that owed my friend money. The person in the video is Tom Leogrande and is NOT the person I thought. Tom does not owe anyone any money and never did. To maintain his reputation in the industry, he has asked me to post this retraction. I have also emailed him with a detailed apology. This was mistaken identity and an un-professional (and off-topic,lol) act on my part. To Mr Leogrande, Glenn and the members, I apologize. To the friends who know and hold both myself and Mr Leogrande in high regard, sorry to put you in the middle.
  19. Norman- Certainly not a 1 or the other situation, this post was merely to bring to light why we are all here. An awareness thread, that's all.
  20. Well, you are definitely using the right stuff in what would appear to be the right places. My only suggestion is to go even slower. And maybe deeper. Fish will hold in the deep grass till it starts dying and giving off CO2. In New England, there are still a few weeks left before the grasses start kicking off. (Hydrilla anyway) Keep at it, good luck. (If you are unsure of the "areas" you are fishing, bring some shiners one day. If you can catch on them, the fish are (obviously) still there and you just need to keep trying and figure them out.)
  21. Beater??? You need to come for a ride in my 4cyl VW tackle box,.... Looks strong.
