  1. well, we've been doing pretty well lately . Weather in New England has been beautiful. Jitterbugs, Beavers, finesse worms and trick sticks have been the staple. Some pics A couple of Mike Broggi Jr, 3 time state jr champ (Stratosdadri's son)
  2. Big T, you don't have to delete your membership to use other forums. Lots of guys here can be seen on lots of other forums from fishing, both fresh and salt water, to handgun forums, car forums, health forums, etc. It's not like you have to pick one and stay loyal to it, we encourage everyone to use all the info you can get in life but if it's pertaining to BASS fishing, we hope we can fill your niche. Even if you are not active, you can let your account remain, in the case you should find yourself looking to our pages again in the future.
  3. Airborne, although no weight calculator will give you a dead on weight every time, ours is a little special. Glenn took a normal fish calculator and modified it to be more accurate by narrowing it down to certain body types and then applying the correct formula for each as opposed to one formula for all so I guess I'm saying the one in the toolbox SHOULD be more accurate than most. I tested it on a 5.2 last yr and it hit it pretty much dead on at 5.0- Close enugh for an equation of you ask me
  4. Just thought I would add this short video to this thread seeing how it fits the name. JIGS
  5. I take no credit here, this one is all her dad's doing. He has raised a couple fishing machines.
  6. Oh man, I can't believe I never saw this, I saw the title and thought it was my post from a few weeks ago! Love the trailer hitch part, awesome job!
  7. Same baits as during the day
  8. GW is a class act folks, when we throw it around, it's done with the same respect as you'll see when RW and I don't agree. It's all fun poking, we all have opinions and oddly enough, we all have fish in the boat and in the end, that's all that matters
  9. look at the huddle-bug
  10. That's the price to pay when you want to be the shepherd,.....not the sheep. Luckily, the majority of us make it through the maze and with extra $$ to boot.
  11. Good thing, this post is reminding me how terrible I am at math, lol
  12. I don't think you're all brainwashed, many are seeing the light,lol
  13. Do you guys remember a few months ago, a girl from the RI Jr team, Delainey Broggi, stepped up and ran a fundraiser tourny for this years CAST event? She raised $1000 for us which we plan to use to outfit every child with a PFD. Well, what comes around goes around....... Delainey won the state championship this week!!!!!!! She will be representing her age class down in Arkansas at the TBF jr finals. GO GET "EM GIRL!!!!!!!! We are very proud of Delainey for a number of reasons, and I wanted to publicly announce that we are behind you 100% and can't wait to see you whoop the boys down south.
  14. I think you should give THIS thread a quick read. Roger also brings up a good point. What lures do you currently throw with confidence? As for river fishing for smallies, RW is your guy. Figure out what you like and pick his brain, he's forgotton more about river fishing than most ever get to know.
  15. Try it, but don't bet any money on them producing any differently. You will however, lose some weight if you fish the original. How much does $6 weigh? ;D
  16. Corey, Dirk agrees, lol Lake Fork And yes, I'll vouch for Robert being a tad busy, lol. I was amazed he had time to even post never mind follow up on the thread! Are you starting to see the light yet? OH, And btw....as for your LBH comments......YOU lit this wick pal
  17. Ed, senile? THANKS!! Got it today
  18. I'm still looking for the right song but once I find it, you'll have about 2 days to get the last of them in. I will announce a "last call" and state a deadline at that time. Thanks
  19. Guys, if you can't get on, please hold off on creating a new screenname. We should be back to normal by the morning. Thanks
  20. I pull my 12' 1964 (heavier than most) jon boat and trailer with a '99 jetta. Tongue weight is like 30 lbs, don't worry about it. You have had people in your car that weigh more (most likely).
  21. Sure, If you're going to drop-shot, why not have another bait as an anchor? I use a 1/16-1/8 oz jig for a drop-shot weight. Like Raul, I've never had a double but..............
  22. Lots of foam split grips I see, why not cork? Foam just looks cheap to me (personal opinion) I wonder if they had a special 10x10 cage full of bass for Jimmy? : :-/
  23. We are lucky, Dirks dad lives in between my house and the lake. 20 mins to dads, 20 mins to lake from there. He had an old 2 car shed back in the day, it was rotting so we tore it down. Now there is just a cement slab our 2 boats on it and the old electrical is still live so we have 3 batt chargers in a plastic case so we just back down, unhitch and hook up batteries. Nice
