Re: horrible wreck
The complaint from EMS was that allegedly that the Jackson Fire Department was on the scene or near the scene because the vehicle crash was outside city limits, Sheriff David Woolfork said Tuesday morning. At this point I can't confirm whether or not that occurred. The department investigated after emergency workers complained that firefighters were advised not to help with the fire, the report says. Mike Morgan, the interim Jackson fire chief, said firefighters were initially told the accident was at Thelma Barker Elementary School, and did not see the fire until they noticed that foliage around the crash was aflame. The firefighters reported to their dispatcher that county firefighters were already at the wreck when they arrived. Morgan said he hoped to finish a report on the matter today. Whether they acted or not because they were in the county has no play here, Morgan said. There was some confusion for about one or one and a half minutes there that before he got out of the truck and saw the county fire truck actually extinguishing. Sounds like the other firefighters were already there handling it.

Well I know this, if he DID have a goldfish at home,....it would probably be at least that big ;D

boat ideas?
A jon is stabler than a "V" but a "v" cuts a wave. If you are looking at electric only, definitely go with the jon, if you are looking to break waves with an outboard,go with a "V" or a modified"v"

Boat trailer - lead paint?
Is the trailer galvanized? You'll have issues getting normal paint to stick if it is. Just an FYI, duraliner or any of the truck bed liners can be applied over galvanized Gives it a texture too which can help if you walk on it in the water.

Pretty on the water pics
Not sure how the camera phone helps you catch dinks but a CANNON will definitely improve both the amount and size of your catches. Pretty sure it's illegal though ;D

Pretty on the water pics
Picture #15 is for Raul. I'd need to take a walk down that path with him in the winter. Let him hear the silence of the fresh fallen snow, the scurry of critters across the new top layer and the freshness of the air around you. I can appreciate living in a place where the bass season is 12 months long but man I sure would miss winter.

alumanium ???
Simple green- Fantastic on mildew also (boat cushions, etc) Superclean-AWESOME STUFF!!! My brother owns an auto body shop and this is on their latest and greatest list. You can also buff that boat if you want it to look like chrome but the look doesn't last very long unless you treat it with a product called "sharkhide"

Boat in a truck bed?
Trailers make life lots easier but if you have to use a truck bud, not many 12' jons will fit safely. 10', no problem, 12' is hairy.

Got fish in the new boat first time out!
Way to go Matty!! That spot where you were fishing the pads is called "The Gap" Are my eyes deceiving me or does that LBH guy have a fish in his hand?? Free boat, repaired with silicone,....I think SOMEONE is trying to earn a "Low Budget Hookers" T-shirt!!!
