  1. Persistance. FFD- Please educate some of the folks as to how many companies you approached and how often. I have a friend who gets help from a Vet clinic and an insurance company. A result of a trip down main st that he does every yr. Every Business. (well, just about, he skips the bars) If you keep casting, you are bound to get bit. Congrats on your contract, hope the $$ takes a bit of the burden off you so you can CONCENTRATE ON WINNING!! Go get 'em
  2. weigh your boat,....put a bass in the livewell,....weigh your boat again. (Muddy,....undo your Rapala scale from the bow hook you mook......)
  3. I think Mike is wondering the same thing,....it's kind of his point. My sister is a teacher,....she knows this pain also.
  4. I would have to check with the powers to be when I go back to work on Monday but I think it's do-able. It would be nice to use the exact wording, but if I have to, I could re-explain the same point in a different way. I'll look into it. Let's start here. SEATBELT is ON when the wheels are moving.
  5. FishChris has posted here repeatedly showing the same bass caught by himself repeatedly and bass that both he and other anglers have caught that are the same fish. He has the pics where he highlights the markings,.......they're tough to dispute.
  6. BassBoy,.......I think your dog swallowed your brother. Holy Porker!!
  7. i was thinkin the same thing! "cross rock, so you never rose you rucky fishin rure!" only on the Rucky Craffs
  8. 1/0 Octopus or finesse wide gap. Wacky only. I''m one of those steadfast guys that only uses it in it's original intent. BOTH ends wiggling. If I am going to T-rig a worm, I use one intented for that, like a needle worm, etc. But that's me...
  9. Yea,....good luck with THAT!!! My goal is to get a better grip on swim baits,....so far so good.
  10. Ika (ee-ka) Who'd a thunk! :-[ the Japanese...... ;D
  11. Personally, I think it's a mean watch and metals can be sealed to stop the oxidation process. The problem with it is that it is attracted to ice. Wear it at a party and hope noone gets too close with a frozen mudslide cause your arm will shoot out and smash the glass..... Being from the Titanic is fitting though, because if you can swing a 175k watch, you are probably ready to shout,...."I'm on top of the woooorld....."
  12. Awesome!!! Saving an animal from being put down is very rewarding. My cat was scheduled to go the Monday after I found her at the shelter. 2 more days and she would have been gone. I think she knows we saved her, lol, she's awesome. Good luck with your new buddy and again, NICE SAVE! PS- LOTS of energy in those dogs, heavy exercise is a must or they start getting psychological issues (circling, tail chasing etc)
  13. FishChris does this all the time. Once you know where the real estate is that the alpha-class uses,.....it's game over. You can catch these big fish a few rimes,....till they get hip to your presentations. The nice thing is that these fish are old and won't be around forever. Once they pass on,.....a new Mega bass will move up and take over that real estate. I personally would count it once/yr. Next yr, she'll have forgotten me and will also be a yr older (smarter) so it's a new challenge. Granted, you already have a lot of the equation figured out, but you still have to hook her. That's the easier part though,.....finding them,....that's the real challenge, and that's where "A" class anglers like FishChris excel.
  14. Topwaters are a good choice in the rain. Sorry to hear of this loss, a family member is always a tough one. Condolences from the BR Staff.
  15. Well it ain't from picking my nose....... :
  16. Now that's a post! Bravo!!
  17. Nice piece JT!!! Thanks!! It's great to see RW's name in print on Yamamoto's Inside Line, he's been nothing less than a stellar ambassador for GYCB. I'd think he'd be a great fit to do some writing for them himself, he knows the line inside & out. Again, thanks for the exposure and Nice write up JT!!
  18. Yes. Same reason I used to ski my warm up runs on 220cm low profile tip Downhill skis. I would then do the real runs with a 190cm, foam core ski. (and people thought I was nuts bringing a DH ski into a 50-60 degree [steep] mogul field)
  19. Thank you for all the replies and PM's gentlemen
  20. WFN- World Fishing Network All episodes can be seen online also at Lunkerville. The show is based on everyday fishing with everyday guys like you and me. Mike D, the host (also a member here) learns and interviews along the way as folks turn him on to their local honey holes for a day. Grass roots at it's finest.
  21. Yea, I couldn't reach the top shelf,.....some good stuff up there.....hehe (Yea,...I found a stool ) Nice set up amigo!! I think the "land mine" knobs would look sick on a reel on the python. (yea,...you know the ones, hehe, shhhh)
  22. They do not have to operate at a level to profit,.....with that said,....noone really cares,....losing a customer just means less work to them. Insurance- No. I'm on the receiving end though, it was a gift, I feel bad for Robert. It's the thought that counts Ron- I'll check my neighbors truck,lol,....he fishes and may have thought that Santa came last night. ;D
