I've never used a Carbonlite 2.0 but reviews seem good, and that's a great price. If it were me and you didn't need the setup right away I'd wait until BF and get a Dobyns fury from TW during their sale. As far as the reel goes, I 100% agree with the Fuego CT off Ebay using a coupon code.

Yep, same here and it's my first glass rod. It put the biggest smile on my face when I caught my first fish on it. It's something you'll have to experience in person, haha.- Maybe Buying Feel Free Lure 13 Today
No pedal drive option for the Lure 10. As far as new pedal yak I've narrowed it down to either the new Topwater PDL from Old Town or Native Slayer Propel. I fish shallow stuff too but I'm tired of paddling and trying to hold position. I don't get to spend a lot of time on the water so every minute I have to make count. With a pedal drive yak I have more time to fish and less time paddling.- Maybe Buying Feel Free Lure 13 Today
I've got a Feelfree Lure 10 that I use mainly on the creek. It's a great yak but I'm getting ready to sell for a pedal yak.- Intervention Needed!

- Best baitcast reel under $70
Thanks, but Dicks raised the price $10 from yesterday back to $79.97 lol. Bunch of dicks.- Moving baits for winter ? Soft plastics? I’m confused ??♂️
Seems like a pretty good lineup. Out of curiosity what part of the country do you fish?- Something other than an Avid X casting for Curado K
I'm going to have to go with the majority here, go with the Avid. I own several and they're great.- Best baitcast reel under $70
It's all good buddy! I was just going to try one if I could get it for right at $50, especially since you get a free Lews t shirt with it.- Best baitcast reel under $70
Found it in my email, it's only able to used in store and no Dicks within 50 miles has that reel in stock. Thanks- Best baitcast reel under $70
Code for $10 off $50? I'm not seeing it.... Where? Not seeing it.....- Best baitcast reel under $70
Cheapest I've seen is Ebay, but you have to wait for a promo. Otherwise maybe BF sale from TW?- Best baitcast reel under $70
First off, I'm a diehard Shimano fanboy but I decided to give a Daiwa Fuego CT a try after getting one for $50 on the last Ebay 20% promo. Hands down, best budget reel out there. You won't be disappointed.- The " green pumpkin" color in soft plastics
- Spinning reel for river smallmouth
Yup, look around, they can be found used for a steal. I bought one that looks like it's never been used locally with fresh line on it for $150- $300 to spend on a new Jig/Texas Rig rod......
Max weight will more than likely be 3/8 jig plus trailer, light to medium cover more than likely.. The Kistler is currently in the lead, wish I could handle one first but don't have any local dealers.- MHF casting, best under $150
Mojo Bass or Dobyns Fury- $300 to spend on a new Jig/Texas Rig rod......
Yeah, I think this is what I want.- What type of rod for Whopper plopper?
I don't throw a lot of Whopper Ploppers but I use a Mojo Bass topwater rod.- $300 to spend on a new Jig/Texas Rig rod......
Currently using a 6'8" MH St. Croix Avid, which I love but I've got the itch for a new rod...... I'm a self proclaimed St. Croix and Loomis fanboy but I'm open to other suggestions. I'll be fishing with this rod 90% out of my kayak so would ideally like to stay under or right at 7'1". I'm not opposed to buying used as a lot of my rods I own are gently used that I've gotten for a steal. If buying new I'll buy local or wait until the TW Black Friday sale. I'll more than likely pair the rod with a Curado K or maybe a Curado 70 if I choose one over another K or DC. So, best Jig/TR rod for $300? Go- Edge rods by Gary Loomis - thoughts?
That's unfortunate as the look of the rods is sweet!- 6th Sense crankbaits
Yeah, going to get some of the 50x and give them a shot. BTW, hi from a fellow Lexington resident. True, I understand. Thanks for the reply.- 6th Sense crankbaits
So, I'm quite intrigued by 6th Sense crankbaits, they look good, the logo is cool, packaging is neat and the price seems right. I also really like their line of apparel, hats and shirts. I bought a few of the Crush Flat 75x to try in popular colors to match the hatch where I fish. Unfortunately I have had ZERO luck with the lure. I tried for a while a couple weekends ago and finally gave up, tied on a KVD 1.5 and caught a decent 2lb bass second cast afterwards. So, I really want to like 6th sense lures and would like to try some of their other crankbait offerings. What do you guys like to use from their lineup? Primarily looking for both shallow and medium divers to experiment with. - Cranking sticks!!!
