  1. It seems to be the jaw of what could possibly be a small herbivore dinosaur. Maybe an achelosaurus. Call a local museum and consult a paleontologist.
  2. How does it handle lures that are 1/8 oz and lighter?
  3. Has anyone given the reel a go at flipping/pitching/rollcasting? In these techniques I generally set 4 of the brakes on (2 more than normal) and set the spool pretty free to release line fast. If the VBS is not that effective, does it mean that you have to turn all 6 brakes on in order to flip & pitch?
  4. Watermelon seed / Pumpkin for clear water. Black/blue for dark water. Junebug works well in both.
  5. But the primary is soooo much better when the secondary doesn't suck.
  6. This song sucks. I loved metallica before the black album. Master of Puppets might be my favorite album ever. They got soft after that. ;D \m/ listen to LAMB OF GOD \m/ ;D
  7. Premier guides are not bad. You just have to be really gentle because they are really delicate.
  8. Man, you have to take me fishing ! lol
  9. Baitmonkey! Stay in your cage!
  10. 15-20 yards ... This kid is a retard.
  11. Look for a local rod/reel service shop. The repair will probably cost you a minimum of $30, so I don't know if it's really worth it for you. Give them a call nonetheless. GL.
  12. Zebco 33, hands down.
  13. I am pretty sure the boat is still around your town. Check local pawn shops and questionable vehicle sellers. What kind of chains, locks did you have on it?
  14. It depends on what technique you like when using spinnerbaits. I would use a slower ratio if slow rolling the spinnerbait on the bottom, or yo-yoing it. For waking, a burner reel is more appropriate IMO.
  15. 1 bag of zoom junebug speed worms and burn the rest at the local strip joint
  16. Get a Shimano Symetre 3000. Lighter, smaller, better balanced, more spool capacity and better components that the Symetre 2500. I have owned both the older 2500 and the newer 3000 and the difference is abysmal. It makes the Symetre 2500 look like a walmart reel.
  17. I have never heard of that lure before.
  18. Really nice! Keep up the good work. ;D Wish you had better pics

  20. I had to go to DMV and get a formal vessel registration (around $40), then get the stickers with the registration number and put it on port and starboard sides.
  21. A 6' rod is generally considered a specialty rod and it should not be used as an all-purpose rod IMHO. It might just be a tad short for plastics. I would only use a rod this short for pitching and rollcasting a spinnerbait at short distances (10-15 yds). In real murky water you can get real close to structure and make short accurate casts with smooth presentation. If I was you I would consider a 6'6"-7' range. Just my 2 cents!
  22. Are you sure you have a deep cycle battery and not a starting battery?
  23. The biggest disadvantage of braid/microfilament is the knot strength. The reality is that braid is a great product but not all mono knots work on braid. I would only trust 2 knots tied to braid: bimini and double uni. For me, tying braid to a hook or lure is a huuuuge no-no, since braid tends to slip. Just fishing 101. Btw, there is a million posts about this subject. Do some searching.
  24. I got a $50 ticket at Loxahatchee, FL for not having vessel registration. My boat is a 9' BPS Pond Prowler with a Minnkota Endura 30.
  25. I guess this reel creates love/hate reactions in people, kinda like Scions and Crocs. I personally do not like the aesthetics of this reel, but I'm still going to purchase 3. It all comes down to performance. I am awaiting reviews from BR. Btw ... Curado Green and Carrot Stick Orange. Interesting combo! It matches your avatar colors Burley!
