this is interesting, im surprised so many people are considering not flying. you know, these types of body searches (not scanners) have been going forever, theyre just alot more common now. they used take you into a private area, however. a little more romantic that way. edit: BTW - i dont know the legality of it but during highschool my car was searched by police at least 5 times. never once did they ask me if they could. apparently theyre also allowed to take pictures of all occupants in the car on the side of the street for their files... no, i did not have a record of any kind.

Does this apply to only thinng that you don't care about? What happens if people decide that saving lives are more important than anyone owning a gun? Would you "not mind" that? What if people decide that saving lives are more important than your personal privacy and any government official should be allowed access to your home whenever they see fit to search whatever they would like? What if the government decides that boating is too risky and decides to ban all outboards larger than 10 hp? The list can continue forever. All of those would also save lives. Shall we start writing our Congresspeople? only to things i dont care about. you are 100% correct on that. but what i meant to say is that there are quite a few things that i believe to be a bigger threat to personal freedoms/privacy than screening at the airport. from your home search example: if im having the president over to fix my plumbing, id expect a full house search to ensure his safety. a random house search would be unacceptable. i would be furious if i were screened walking down the street for no reason. if im boarding an aircraft i fully understand, and appreciate it. just my opinion.

i will still fly. if it saves even one life, i dont mind. our personal rights/freedoms are being violated harder on other things. to me this is a non-issue. sorry about the kids.

to build confidence, try a small jig and trailer. id suggest 1/4oz bitsy bug (green craw) with a matching 3" trailer (baby rage craw, 2.75" craw papi or tiny paca). drop it by a log, let it sink on semi slack line (watch the line). let it sit for 10-30 secs. drag it a few inches. pause. hop it. pause. "shake" it. pause. mix it up. if you feel that tap or feel anything different, set the hook! you will catch a fish! cast your jig in shallow clear water and watch its movements as you move your rod. this will give you an idea of what it is doing when you cant see it in deeper water.

level 30 something now (just got AK). there are a few things i like better in black ops compared to MW2. perks, money used to upgrade, knifing and sniping are not as cheesy, no more ridiculous predator missles, grenade and equipment slots are better... but the gameplay just isnt up to par. Activision - lets give the next one to Infinity Ward, aye?

G-MAN - hardcore, yes. i did not see express. hardcore looks like it has its own set of games like core. team deathmatch, free for all etc. theres also a prestige mode with a subset of games. just put another 1.5 hrs in. not feeling it yet. doesnt seem anywhere near as "crisp" as mw2. this is on ps3 btw... maybe this will be fixed with an update? maybe i found out why the ps3 network is free? xbox owners: is it kinda choppy? (nuke town?)

played for about an hr last night. very similar to mw2. you buy weapon upgrades, perks etc with money/xp. im not sure if i love it yet, it seemed a bit choppy but i think i may have had a connection issue as the internet was slow after i played. hopefully a hub reboot will remedy that.

the universe is bigger than we can comprehend. kinda arrogant to think we are the only ones IMO. why havent they visited? we're too far. the nearest star to the sun is over 4 light yrs away. physics has a speed limit just under the speed of light. is it even possible to build a vessel to travel any where near that speed? the nearest planet hosting life might be 50,000 light yrs away. even if the life is advanced enough to leave their solar system, why would they head this way? intelligent life could have existed, flourished for millions of years and become extinct on a far away planet before we were even began transmitting any signals.

if it was an infinity ward game im sure it would be great. its not so we will have to wait and see...

depends on how you hold it. spinning for me as my pointer finger and alot of my middle finger are on the blank. if you had a naked spinning blank and a casting blank of the same model and tied the line to the tip like a bamboo pole and wanted to see which is more sensitive, it would probably vary depending on the manufacturer.

the pocket rocket is great if youre just boiling water. they had a combo with a small MSR titanium kettle when i bought mine. i use it for coffee and mountain house foods. get two bags. 0 deg a little bulky and too warm for summer use. down is great but sucks when wet.

i use: 6'6"-7' MH Fast, 6:1 - med/large spinnerbaits 6'6" M Fast, 7:1 - small/med spinnerbaits for an all around spinnerbait rod, id take the first one.
