  1. i would use the most sensitive rod for jig/worm and bottom baits where detecting the strike is important the rod with the most moderate action id use for crankbaits i would have a spinnerbait or small soft swimbait tied on the other one good luck i hope this helps.
  2. i'd definitely get the 2500 symetre
  3. bcr803 glx is my favorite baitcaster for jigs/t-rigs under 1/2oz
  4. i believe "milky" has been used to describe the YZUS clear and not the mist green. my 4# and 6# mist green YZUS does not appear milky to me.
  5. my gf is my main fishing partner. she shares my gear so no extra funding needed. when its raining, cold, crappy out and no one else wants to go, she's always down! i think the positives will eventually outweigh the negatives for you.
  6. atkins works extremely well. i cheated with a sugar packet for one coffee a day. im pretty sure its unhealthy.i started getting tunnel vision and got dizzy one night about 2 wks in and had to eat some chocolate to feel normal. i switched to a low-carb diet after that.
  7. a friend of mine told me that marlboro is ready to start producing and packaging as soon as soon as its legalized. he might be wrong though, he was pretty high when he told me about it.
  8. not as much difference as there is between a $50 rod and a $160 dollar rod. increased sensitivity and less weight are the biggest differences id say. i think most people use more expensive rods for "feel" baits like jigs and plastics where sensitivity is key. for a wkend angler id go with st. croix avid at $180 retail i made the mistake of buying a loomis glx a couple years ago. i now own 6.
  9. x2 Blue Velvet is a must-see
  10. The best soccer team in the world has not won a world cup yet. Viva España!
  11. im undecided on this one. of course it would lessen violence but do we really want heroin readily available to all? legalizing marijuana is a no brainer. tax it. maybe it will keep people off the alcohol!
  12. check out the Citica 201E or the Curado 201E7
  13. id go for a used 10'-12' used sit on top. native, wilderness systems, ocean kayaks are some brands ive heard good things about. i have the 12' native manta ray and i think its very comfortable and great for fresh water fishing although def not the lightest option. check out the kfs forums.
  14. cuban sandwich, carolina style utz, hersheys w/almonds, coke or beer
  15. welcome aboard. you should quit. hangovers are usually not worth it. stick with the latter.
  16. ive never used, but have heard good things about the lightning rod.
  17. if you wear those, ill wear my crocs in public.
  18. take a look at the curado. very comfortable reel.
  19. i beat you Redlinerobert, got to 29 secs. backwards baseball hat part.
  20. was the water too murky to dive in for it? i think i might have gone swimming if i were you!
  21. x2 did this a few wks ago. i got the rod 3 days after i called them. returned the broken one in the tube the new one came in.
  22. IMO the beauty of soft swimbaits on a jighead is that you can do all of the above. i saw a pack at walmart early this year and decided to try it although the price made me a bit skeptical. the 1/4oz has been my go-to moving bait this year. about 20% of the ones ive bought swim crooked but theyre cheap enough to toss a few out. reeling super slow (barely making bottom contact) and knocking it off wood and letting it fall a bit, are my favorite methods. a steady retrieve has landed a good amount of smallmouth for me this year. im starting to use the yamamoto swimbaits on heavier jig heads when the shallow bite is off. ive had OK luck. if i had a depth finder on the kayak i might build more confidence in slow rolling these in deeper water.
