  1. New Video! If you're new to bass fishing, this video will save you months of frustration. Instead of buying 20 rods and a garage full of lures, this video shows you the exact setup every beginner needs — simple, affordable, and effective in ANY water.
  2. Seaguar Pounce is the most durable and versatile fluorocarbon leader on the market! https://bit.ly/3DxYyRR
  3. Honestly I don't use elastomer baits anymore due to all the hassles of storing and using them, plus they have less action than regular baits. That Z-Man Senko knockoff, for example, is just a lifeless chunk of plastic compared to the Senko. I was just letting folks know that there are other elastomer options available besides Z-Man.
  4. Strike King has a great lineup of elastomer baits. Kind of an underrated secret.
  5. It's just the camera angle. Here's another look....
  6. I don't "store" my card information on ANY online transaction - EVER. Doesn't matter if it's tackle, Amazon, GrubHub, Delta, Hilton, DirecTV...whatever. My card info isn't "saved" anywhere for this exact reason.
  7. I grew up as a kid fishing out of a Terry boat with zero electronics. And in college, I fished out of an inflatable raft. I bought my first boat when I was in my 30's, and it had a basic deptfhinder and no GPS. I have decades of experience fishing without GPS or depthfinders. Not everyone has or can afford fancy boats and electronics, so in my videos I try to incorporate the ways I learned how to fish growing up. It's something I bring to the table that most Youtubers can't.
  8. Prices on EVERYTHING are skyrocketing. They were warned.
  9. Elite Series pro Matty Wong breaks down everything you need to know about fishing the NEKO rig in April.
  10. on the back of your boat! Sales are going on right now - https://qr.suzukimarine.com/bassresource
  11. Nope. I've never used something like that. I do this instead
  12. I've yet to hear anyone have any issues with St. Croix's replacement warranty. I don't understand why somebody would buy something with a great warranty and customer service, and then not use them when they need to. "Nah, let's post pics and complain on the interweb instead!" btw I have 6 St. Croix rods, some for several years...no problems.
  13. If you want to consistently find fish no matter the season, understanding migration routes and transition banks is one of the biggest shortcuts in bass fishing. Here's how!
  14. Upgrade your bass boat with must-have accessories—from electronics protection to livewell care and line tools—to fish smarter and more efficiently. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/bass-boat-accessories.html

  16. Early spring bass fishing can be one of the most productive times of the entire year — if you know how to follow fish as they transition out of winter.
  17. The dude's never heard the sound of his father's belt clearing the loops. A product of the go-in-the-corner-and-think-about-what-you-did parenting.
  18. This issue has been resolved. For those who are interested, we moved the site from a single dedicated server to a cloud-based environment. The slowness was attributed to the massive data transfer took longer than expected. The result is a more secure, higher-performing system.
  19. You know I'm in Seattle, land of coffee. There's a TON of coffee stands and coffee shops in Washington. It's crazy. So to beat the competition, one company offered latte's for $1.50 when everyone else was at least twice that amount (most were triple). You'd think people would flock to them. But the surprise was that people avoided them instead. The reason? Perceived quality. People just assumed the $1.50 latte was inferior and tasted bad compared to the more expensive competitors. So you know what they did? They doubled the price to $3. Sales skyrocketed. It was the exact same coffee. Why did this happen? Consumers perceive high-priced lattes as "luxury" items. A premium price point actually increased the perceived value, as the brain often accepts higher prices for perceived quality. And the opposite for lower prices. This is what has happened to KastKing. Often, it's the guys who have never tried a KastKing reel that are the ones bashing them, because of perceived quality. And even for the folks who have tried them are pleasantly surprised at such a good reel because they were expecting something lesser due to the price.
  20. I got a KastKing baitcaster 6 years ago and it's still going strong. Pretty good reel. I have options to swap it out with something newer, but there's really no reason.
  21. Cloudflare doesn't host the site. It had absolutely nothing to do with this issue. Nothing.
  22. Elite Series pro Matty Wong shares his top 5 baits for catching bass in April, covering the full spectrum from finesse to power fishing. Whether you’re dealing with pre-spawn, post-spawn, or fry guarders, these baits flat-out catch fish across the country.
  23. Yes, the site is experiencing intermittent latency issues. This originates with our host provider. The issue has been escalated. However, there is no ETA when it will be resolved. Thank you for your patience.
  24. The weight goes further down the hookshank. Look at the weighted area on the hookshank - goes nearly half way down.
