Man… that’s incredibly hard to go through. Pets really are family. They’re with you every day, through everything, always there to lift you up when you need it most and somehow make even the good days better. Watching them decline is one of the toughest things we ever have to face, and saying goodbye is just heartbreaking. But all those memories — the companionship, the unconditional love, the little moments — those never go away. And as painful as the ending is, what you shared with them is truly special and always worth it. I feel this deeply right now, because I’m going through the same thing with my cat. We had a major front come through on Thurs/Fri packing a ton of cold rain. Water levels rose while the temps dropped like a rock. I managed to pick up a few keeper smallies on my favorite lake, fishing slow finesse baits. I checked the DeepDive app just to get a second opinion and...well lookee here! Top 2 choices were finesse, followed by flipping jigs and finesse jigs. That's creepy good!

The restaurant is still there - different name and owners though. The fishing is .... meh. You can catch a few along the riprap, but there isn't any other structure to hold fish. It's great for pike minnow, but the bass fishing is so-so. And if you go on the south side of the freeway, there's a gigantic sand flat that will dry dock you if you're not careful - and very little vegetation to hold fish. It looks good, but IMHO, it's best for water skiers.

I have several glide/swim baits over $100. They definitely have more action than the "cheaper" baits like Savage Gear. Are they better? Well, those baits are kinda in a league of their own, so it's hard to say. I think they're built better though. I have too many "expensive" hard and soft baits to mention - Evergreen, Megabass, Nishine, Deps, RAID, Gan Craft, etc. I like the JDM baits. They align with the "you get what you pay for" in terms of quality. But are they "better"? Like any bait, there's a time and place when they're best used; and then "yes", they are "better".

I'm going to close this thread now because the updated forums were released months ago and there are no further issues. In addition - and I cannot say this enough to everyone - as soon as you think something is wrong with the forums, assume it's something with your system. An outdated browser in this instance, but it could be anti-virus software, VPN, cache, and a host of other things on your local device.
