I bought a 7ft Heavy, IM7, baitcasting rod. It is my all around rod. I paired it up with a Daiwa Zillion. Larry is the MAN. I am already preparing myself for a MH RX8. The IM7 is a little heavy, but Larry assured me that the RX8 is much lighter. Great Rod! Thanks to everyone and their positive input. ;D Sorry but the Pics are very blurry.

Thought about giving thoose rods a shot, then I came across GBlanks. Boy I sure am glad I did. These rods are sweeeeeet! I fished mine for the first time today. It is hands down the best rod I own. ;D

Just fished my new rod for the first time. Let me tell you this thing is awesome, super light and very sensative. Only managed a couple of dinks today with this rod but you could feel the light bite. Great rods, in the process of saving up for a new one.

Congrats on your purchase! I love all my daiwa products. I ve sold shimanos and revos to buy more Daiwa. Youll be a new man once you catch your first fish with the new reels.

Does XF mean that a rods tip is bery soft or very stiff? I just dont know which way the rating goes. So is moderate, really stiff? Help me out please. :-/

Ok, so I spoke to Larry today and let me say that this gentleman was very helpful. I am totally sold on the rod. Now all thats left is for me to send him the money. Thanks to all for you great advice. ;D

Glad I could help. The RX8+ is about $20 more I believe. But I think that isnt bad at all, if its going to cost you $200 for the 8 then order the 8+, you'll have almost 3weeks to save that extra 20 to 25 bux the better blank will run you. You go the better blank on say a Loomis or St Croix they run you $100 plus in some cases. Call Larry and he can walk you right through it. Mention he came highly recommended by myself(Dave S) and Chris W, also you heard about the rods from here BassResource.com Chris, keep me up to date on how you like her. Who is Larry and What is his number?

Now that daiwa reel is strictly saltwater? Either way its a sick looking reel. Ive got the sol, fuego, zillion and soon will have the new model by daiwa. Also that Revo SX looks really nice, and lastley Abu s new Vendetta fishing rods look really nice also.

Well my first baitcaster was a Rick Clunn, and that reel is still with me. Not that I use it, but its the easiest reel to learn on. And its a alot cheper than 220. But if you want to spend the money then go with the Shimano Curado e7.

Just recieved my 7' H baitcasting Bucoo, and I must say this rod is sweet. Its very light. Now I just have to figure out what reel Im going to be placing on it. Cant wait to field test it.

I was actually looking at buying a fuego, when I saw the TW had the Stradic on sale. Just recieved it Wendsday and I mounted it on a major craft spinning rod. It has yet to be fished, but I know that this reel will not disappoint.

May sound like a dumb Question, but how often should a boat be serviced and what is done at the time of servicing. I need to have my boat serviced and was just curious as to what is done.

I currently own a Calcutta 401 te and Im not to sure if I like the round reel concept. So, Ive been thinking about going to a curado 301E for my swimbaits. What is your opinion on the curado for a swimbait application? Thanks for the input.

I bought one about a month ago, and I feel its the best rod I own. So light and sensetive and yet strong.

I own a tracker 175, and it came stock with a Lowrance 37x fishfinder. But, on my last trip out , I noticed that the screen is starting to blur. So Im in the market for a new unit, and have been looking at the Lowrance 510 and 525 models. Does any one have any input on either one of theses units? Also, Im open to any suggestions on other units for around 600 dollars.

As I was looking at the your picture of the Carrot stix and Zillion setups, I thought i might be looking at my own rod and reel combo. Then I realized my zillions are leftys. Carrot stix are defintely a step above other rods. Cant wait to ad more of these rods to my arsenal. ;D
