  1. the source is a Long Beach California native who owns a tackle shop in Japan currently, he is not associated with the IFGA in any way, and they have not released any more info, until they do it is all rumor and conjecture. While Japan does not seem eager in helping their bass industry by certifying this catch, California would love the record to show up there, keep them Baits,Guides and Hotels busy.

    Me too: RIP MR> KENNEDY
  3. Illinois: isn't that a third world country?
  4. Out of the 3 types of keepers, the screw, small hook and post THE SCREW WINS HANDS DOWN IN TEARING THE BAITS LESS! This is after many hours of trying all 3 types, on several companies plastics and types of trailers. It's not even close between the post and the screw type for me. Of aoll the jig heads, PICASSO has the best design by far.
  5. Did you go bill fishing in Belize?/ Did you hook up? a dream of mine some day

  7. I was gonna leave this alone, but you asked, I bought 3 packs of them, when they first came out.Liked the action but that center post that holds the baits is way to thick and eat the trailers up. I do not know about powder coating, OR what that even means. I kept 4 jigs and gave the rest away. Thye jigs I kept are black in color and I used Testors paint thinner and a fine grade sand paper and wiped it clean with a towel, they still tore up the trailers I only speak from experience and this is my experience . It is not the plastics because it happened with the four brands and five baits i used them with Picassos Secrets Omegas BPS Football Jigs *** Shaky Jig These all work just fine and do not tear the baits
  8. I use overhand for distance, sidearm in close quarters or for accuracy ( I don't know why, but I have more control side armed) backhand: around docks and blow downs.
  9. I have fished golden shiners 6" long for many years; They currently go for 12 bucks a dozen 6 inch shiners are common and not unusual I have seen them from The East Coast to South Central USA , they are a regular live bait
  10. Stay away from me ;D Hater! Now thats worthy
  11. Fore grips for me are nothing more than decoration: I have no idea why they are there, so either way it is no problem for me Spinning: 2 fingers in front of the stem, 2 behind;DRUMMERS GRIP I SUSPECT : , I have wide and clunky hands and this works best for me Casting: this is why I went all round reels; great on the cast even better on the retrieve, they fit perfectly n my hands.
  12. Paying that much dough for a simple jig head and having to mess with it,is not my idea of a satisfactory product. BTW I did that, still tore into them. I don't want to go on about a sponsors product, if they would change this I would have a mess of them in my tackle box. Hey CWB : easier way to get the paint off: Go to model building store; to those little testors paint bottles: Get the one marked paint thinner or laquer remover and put it on an old dish rag ( don't let the old lady catch you) and just wipe it off, works great!
  13. one ounce pure anise oil 8.99 4 ounces of mineral oil 1.99 in a pray bottle or I upgraded this year 4 ounces of pure anise oil into a 1/2 bottle of Bassmate Bass/Craw Scent
  14. I loved the e2 jigs when they first came out; bottom line : that jagged post that holds the plastics are just 2 thick and destructive to the plastics, that includes Yamamoto ( Fat Ikas), ***( Finesse worms,Brush Bugs), Zoom( Tricks) and Mann's( Jelly Worms) . Way too much tear and there are other jig heads out there just as effective without ripping the heads off your plastics in a ridiculously short time.
  15. Didn't you post somewhere she was short sighted
  16. They get it from Ghetto slang, which comes from jail house slang; being a thug is glamorous, especially among those who have never seen a jail cell or a ghetto :-? Hatin on me: could mean anything from accusing someone of being jealous, to out right disrespect and dislike. Frequently , one who is being addressed , about something that obviously needs addressing will use this phrase to discredit and disarm those who are justifiably criticizing them ex. I ask at least 20 kids a day to pick up their pants, in Job Corps we treat the center as a business site. Of the 20,15 suck their teeth and say WHY YOU HATTIN ON ME MR>D?, the other 5 YEA I GOT YA< SORRY What I love is, where I work a kid is all acting tough and what not, saying THEY HATIN ON ME Yea the whole world is jealous of your broke ***, don't have a pot to pizz in, but you have 300 dollar kicks ( sneakers) and gold all over your teeth, yes I am jealous of this on a daily basis, :-X

  21. I don't know all these Florida guys like to brag about thier rod lengths!
  22. That is not true for every one. Last year I traded in all my 7's for 6'6"s and I am much happier with the shorter rods, same brand same action, many , not all also prefer different lengths. To say 7 ft is always better , for all folks and all applications is just not true.
