That's because the former is fact, and the latter is gossip. The respectable sites won't assist in spreading rumors. The sad fact is, stories, gossip, and outright lies are conjured up and spread around when events like this occur. I have no clue why anyone would be motivated to stoop to such low levels. Maybe some people can't relish the great accomplishments and monumental moments in our sport. But making stuff up serves no purpose to further the sport and promote its image. It really disgusts me. I'm proud to run a site that doesn't participate in such antics. Thanks Boss for keeping it that way also. Considering the source of the rumors , the TRUTH generlly dosen't flow from that direction anyway.

I do not knw the best rod, or a rod over 120 , but I will say the best rods I have ever used; FENWICK HMG The ones that I use now, and I am very happy with them are way below 100 CABELAS FISH EAGLE II's

What I am talking about is the ones they use at the poultry and egg farms here, when they ship them out bulk ; to institutions; They are flat and have 48 depressions per sheet ( or so) It works out pretty cool Take pics as you go along and number each egg holder; Then follow pics and reverse numerical order, works for me the few times I tried it.

A nice reel definitely increases the pleasure of fishing....like a find automobile. However, a sensitive rod can actually improve your fishing....especially in deeper water. My first high end rod, an mbr844 IMX, improved my Carolina rig fishing 3 fold or more. All my deep water fishing improved with highly sensitive rods, including drop shot, deep jigs, etc. I can say with certainty that I catch more fish with higher-end rods. Do you think that is possible, because you expect to. You pay attention more with eqipment you trust. There are a few fellas here who have many double digit bass and quite a few checks who do not use very high end rods How did Linder,Dance and Mann catch all those fish with basically cue stick old ABU and Fenwick Fibergalss Lunker Sticks?

Refusing not only for me, but others here, as stated in threads to match their own Internet prices, when other wholesalers do! Their shipping charges and pull/ship time are horrendous. Take the reel with you to the store and try it on any rod you think you might want to buy. Once again It fits in an Eagle GT, by Fenwick they retail for 60 bucks

Can someone explain that most of the big bass on the ESPN top 20, were caught after the noon hour,and at all different times of the month The one constant that sticks out is that most of them are related to the Spawning activity> But then again , I didn't spend a lot of years studying the moon, but I really would like to see the data. I am not a monster hunter or professional angler, not even close, just a mook content in taking a lot of medium size fish, and I do well no matter what day I go out.
