You can't win against the bait monkey. It's impossible. I have already spent $300+ just this new year on a new reel, line, and some more lures. Especially now that I will start doing online shopping using tackle warehouse.

These ragetails seem to work very well. I personally havent used them, but watched a show of some guys fishing them and they were catching bass left and right.

This is probably your best and easiest option.

I have some, they are made good and look good in the water. I usually fish with them when I want to catch numbers.

Give Berkley Vanish Fluoro a try. It works great for me, I use it in 8lb. test for fishing lighter t-rig worms. It is very hard to see and you can feel the softest bites.

It looks like it will stay low tide. Utah's quarterback has all night to throw the ball. It's what happens when you bring a team from the west over to play someone like Alabama. Especially since Utah has been playing so well this year.
