Fishing buddies had me pick them up for them since only one store carries that color in the world. But I do like to keep a stockpile for myself

The H20 Lures must be doing fine. I found these new glide baits there last night. The lady stocking them said they had several new baits coming in stock.

Any luck with finding the 3rd on Day 1? Seems like everyone is having trouble with that one.

Fishing in Myrtle Beach
If you're bass fishing look up "Market Commons". I've seen a ton of guys fishing that place and catching bass.

Help with Lake Murray
Tie on a fluke or a topwater bait (chrome colored) and fish any points you can access with your YAK in the early morning and evenings. You will catch something down there. The schoolers (both largemouth and stripers) have been really active all over the lake.

I stopped by my local Wal-Mart this morning and found a few boxes of heavily discounted lures. Found the 3 pack of Rebel Pop-rs for $3, War Eagle Finesse Spinnerbaits for $2, and Strike King 2 pk Spin Heads for $2 to name just a few. I walked out with all 7 War Eagle Spinnerbaits. I tried to upload a pic, but Ive had trouble doing that lately.

My local academy had the Duckett 300 Baitcast reels on clearance for $59.98 in the 7.1.1 ratio. I didn't really need any new reels, but for that price I bought two.

In a slump, and out of ideas...
A few ideas that will at least get you bit. 1.) "Ned" rig. Hard to beat a Zman Big TRD 2.) Small underspin with a Zoom Fluke on it. Casey Ashley won the Classic last year on it when weather was freezing. 3.) Rooster tail or Mepps in line spinner. Either will work. 4.) Vertical jigging a spoon will work as well.

What did Santa bring you?
I was able to hook my 8 yr old Nephew up with a tackle box full of stuff. He is finally getting the fishing bug. The old tackle box was the first box my grandpa gave me when I was about his age. Figured we could make it a family tradition. He flipped out when he first opened it on Christmas Day. Santa also brought my little girls and youngest sister their first tackle boxes as well. Santa was also good to me. Custom painted Bull Shad Santa also left a new fishing rod under the tree for each of my daughters.

Losing fish on frog
It hasn't in anything I've fished it in yet, but I don't throw mine in thick pads. I've been overly impressed with them since a buddy of mine turned me on to them.

River2sea Double Plopper
Was pretty excited about getting one of the new Double Ploppers the other day. Only caught 6 on it yesterday, but didn't fish it hard because the frog bite was on. The biggest fish I caught on it blew up on it and missed it. But I stopped it and let it float and the fish came back on it.

Im horrible at frog fishing.
Try these next time on your frog. I've been using them for about 3 months and have been hooking up 9 out of 10 blowups. These also really help out the Livetarget Bluegills baits.

ICAST 2016 Preview - Your Favorites ?
I'm interested in the Zoom Original worms. I still have about 20 bags of the original pours of these worms. They are deadly on a shake head. I still pick up every pack I run across in older tackle stores. Maybe these newer ones will be as good as the older ones. Also I'm interested in the new Zman TRD Tubes.

Zman TRD
I've been able to get my hands on the Big TRD. They definitely catch fish like the smaller TRD does.

Spring spinnerbaiting: what are you throwing?
I always start out with a white spinnerbait once the bass first move shallow for the year, but as the water temp progresses I move toward throwing a bluegill color. Revenge Baits makes one of the best I've ever used. I also am fond of my giant custom spinnerbait pictured below. The blade is the size of a mag spoon. It whacks fish at places with giant gizzard shad.

Greenwood SC
I've always just went towards back of creeks and found the creek channel. If bait was in it, Id drop a spoon down. A-Rig is about the same. Find bait, graph some fish, and sling it til your arms fall off. Still really learning the a-rig bite down there. How'd you do in the tournament?

Greenwood SC
I live about an hour away from Lake Greenwood. They'll choke a Bama Rig and a spoon in deeper water. Or you can run the bank with a shad rap. I've done well on a bright red crawdad shad rap fished around all the rip rap banks this time of year down there. Good luck.
