  1. White/Chartruse with red hook and black/black with red hook. Cavitron of course. Later,
  2. I got some of these and can't wait to try them this weekend. Later,
  3. Power Pro 50lbs, the toughest line I have ever used. Later,
  4. They show them as new products though. That is to bad, that would have been awesome. Later,
  5. I got one yesterday and used it today. Caught several nice 2+ lbs LM with it using the Cavitron buzz bait today. The drag seemed to work very well and the reel casted and retrieved extremely well. Later,
  6. I saw on line at BPS that there is a new SX and STX coming that has the centrifugal as well as the magnetic brakes. Later,
  7. I have read the reviews that I can find, but now I would like some info on this reel from people who actually have it or have used it. BPS has this reel on close out at our local BPS for $119 and am wondering if it is worth it? Down from $179 Thanks,
  8. So the Revo S has a centrifugal braking system, correct? While the SX and STX has a magnetic, correct? How do you adjust or do you adjust the braking system on the Revo S? Thanks,
  9. Not very close to a Cavitron. The bend in the wire on the Cavitron is a lot different. Later,
  10. Cavitron for sure. Later,
  11. I would get some top water poppers, Strike King Spit n Kings, Cavitron buzz baits, and some Strike King Rage Tail Shads and or some Rage Toads. Later,
  12. Whats the best techniques to fish the spro and scum frogs. Thanks,
  13. I use the BPS 360 bag and the double zipper binder for my plastics. It is an awesome combination and very easy to carry with me weather fishing from the bank or boat. I also added a couple falcon boxes for my hooks and waits and my buzz baits. Later,
  14. I use the palomar knot for everything except top water lures. For top water I use the improved clinch knot. Later,
  15. Well after doing some more testing yesterday I can clearly say that the KVD is a far better product then Reel Magic. You do not get the oily residue or do you get the chalky build up on your guides or on your reel. The line also seems to be a lot more manageable and is far easier to tie knots as well. So I am taking my reel that had Reel MAGIC on it apart and cleaning it up and putting on new line with KVD. Later,
  16. I am still in the process of trying them both out. Last weekend I reeled up my 2 Citicas I have with Trilene Sensation. I sprayed one down with KVD and the other with Reel Magic. I sprayed both lines as I spooled them up and then sprayed them the spools and the guides before i went fishing and then after wards. Both performed very well and made the line very manageable and I tried all sorts of different weighted lures with both. I will be going again this weekend for the second test and see how they still compare. As of know it is a tie, but we will see what happens over a period of a month or so. Later,
  17. Having held both of them yesterday at BPS I can say I really like the feel of the Citica much better. As for performance I am not sure how they compare but I do know I like the Shimano centrifugal brake system better then I do the reels I have tried with the magnetic brakes. Just have never tried the SX(yet). Later,
  18. What is the best way to store your spinners and buzz baits. I know that Falcon makes some but are then any others or other ways to store them without bending them up? Thanks,
  19. St Croix Premium or Shimano Crucial both fall into your price range and are excellent rods. Later,
  20. Can't wait to see the results for tonight! ;D Later,
  21. Haven't tried top water yet. Going to try that this weekend. Later,
  22. Which is better the original or the ultra soft? I have both of them and am just wondering which to try first. Thanks,
  23. I took an old eye glass cleaner bottle and filled it with water and a little bit of soap and carry that with me to wet down my line as I am tying the knot. Works very well and I use the palomar knot. Later,
  24. I really like the Cavitron. I have used several different buzz baits but this has become my favorite. Later,
  25. Found a new club in KC. Pleasant Hill Bass Club, they meet at our local Bass Pro Shop, in Independence, MO Later,
