  1. Tried my 7" Anacondas this weekend. No luck with them this weekend though. Going to try the Rage Tail Shad later this week. Fish were only biting on top water lures today. Later,
  2. How are the Strike Kings Heavy Cover KVD edition jigs? Also what trailers do you use? Thanks,
  3. I really like the Citica and for the price you can't beat it. Just my $.02 Later,
  4. I am using Power Pro braid on one of my citicas and am using Trilene Sensation on my other and can't complain about either. Braid, occasionally with a leader, either mono or florocarbon, but not always. Especially when fishing thick cover with frogs. Later,
  5. Very nice, pretty close to what I am getting this weekend. Later,
  6. Man, what a bummer. Like stated at least you know they work. Later,
  7. You can get the 1/8th lbs spools at BPS for $4.88, roughly 600 yards. Yo-Zuri Hybrid Later,
  8. Going to have to try out some of these 7" and 10" anacondas. Glad to hear they work well weightless. Thanks,
  9. Check this thread Citica 200/201E Later,
  10. I would go with the Shimano Clarus rod. They are very nice and for the money you can't beat them. I haven't seen them at BPS but have seen them other places for $70.00 I just don't like the power hump grip on the BPS Extreme Rod. Really makes my hand hurt after fishing all day. Later,
  11. I am waiting for the 201 Citica and Curado as well. Sigh,
  12. I like the Rattlin Rapalas as well as the Strike King Red Eye Shad. Later,
  13. I had the BPS Rick Clunn BC actually had 2 of them. Both were defective. Never was fond of the magnetic braking system. Swapped it for a Shimano Citica about the same price(except BPS has the Rick Clunn on sale right now)but I hear they are pretty decent. Just never got to try one the was good. They are made by Pflueger. Later,
  14. Too bad the 201Es aren't available yet. Later
  15. What line does everyone use for these different applications? Thanks,
  16. I like the new Strike King Coffee tubes. Work really well in the ponds I have tried them in. Later,
  17. Yes for me brand names makes a difference. Will I buy a non brand name item depends on what it is. But mostly I will just stick to the brand names that have an outstanding reputation. Later,
  18. Your going to hear all sorts of answers. Your best bet is to pick one up feel how it feels in your hands. Then see if you can feel the way the reel feels mounted on the pole you plan on using. Then just get a Shimano and be happy.lol Later,
  19. I thought the Revo S was centrifugal brakes, is this not the case? If it is magnetic then I will be going with Shimano, but if it is not then I will be trying one out. Later,
  20. I have been using the SK Double Take but after reading all of this I am going to get a couple of these to try out. Stopping by Dicks after work today. Do you use a trailing hook on these or should I say can you or do you need to? Thanks,
  21. Well since the new Citica is not available yet I am going to give a Revo S a try and see how it compares. Should be interesting to see if it lives up to all of its great feedback. or would it be worth it to spend the extra $50 and got for the SX? I know when I got my Citica it lived up to and far beyond what I expected. So hopefully the Revo will as well. Later,
  22. How does the brakes on the Revo S compare to the Shimano Citica? Since they both use centrifugal brakes. Hear nothing but good things about the Revo and am looking for a 2nd reel to go with my Citica. I know just get another Shimano, but I like to try different things just to make sure what I have is the best for me. Thanks,
  23. How much do you want to spend? There are lots of good BCs out there. Shimano Abu Garcia Daiwa Quantum Pflueger to name a few. Later,
