  1. i always look for a lake map and look for structure when i get there. i also use techniques i use on my local lakes

  4. lets just say i have pulled a 4lber out of some lily pads on one of these it was texas rigged but i also use it on a football jig head works well

  7. i have had good results with them my favorite color is the watermelon to use under boat docks
  8. i sort mine by size and color i dont have many different colors mainly just natural colors

  10. blade baits used for walleye but im bass fishing
  11. this spring i am going to start out trying blade baits. does anyone fish this bait? what colors work? how do you fish them? any input would be great.
  12. ya thas what i am doing. i would run the boat up on to where the pin was supposed to latch shut and nothing and after a couple trys it became bent and worthless everything would have to be perfect for it to work.
  13. i had one on my trailer but it was junk! the pin would not lock in when i would run the boat on. and you also need to have the boat buddy at the perfect angle and with mine i had to replace the hook on the front of the boat. there is more work to those than it seems my experience with them just made my blood pressure rise.
  14. ya that kayak should be ok i have worked at a canoe livery for 4 years. sit on top kayaks tend to be more stable than sit in's and about the w shape in the back idk much about but i would tend to say it would be another way of being stable. although if i was you i would stick to the canoe. i have a kayak and found it can get kinda tipsy to fish from im not trying to sell you on anything but its what i have found. but i know the troubles of loading a canoe on your own until you get the hand of it.

  17. i usually change mine since i fish rocky areas which wear them down fast but keep it as long as you have enough to fish without worries

  20. As we know Christmas is coming up and i need a new spinnning rod. wat would you guys suggest, it will be mainly used for smallies. jw wat a good all around rod would be for all applications. thanks.
  21. yep i am done too i hate walking in the garage now, but i guess ill go for some trout now
  22. Does or has anyone ever used a jig with no chunk or trailer? if so when? there are times for me when fish just dont like a trailer and without one it is like turning on a light switch.
