Try "dead sticking" all of your soft plastics not just your trick worms.

I generally dig out all my "stretchy" sweat pants out of the dresser and then give them a thorough washing in preparation for the upcoming holiday eating binges.I will also install a fresh pack of batteries in each of the remotes i find lying around the house in preparation for the long winter football season. Other than that i put a fresh coat of leather cleaner on the recliner and wait till march until i start re-lubing my reels and resorting my tackle bags for new tackle inventory. Just joking with the top half,i love being outdoors all year.

I haven't been happy with my berkley digital scale. It seems to go through batteries too quickly not to mention i have to hold the power button down for a good 30 seconds to turn it on, even with a fresh battery installed.

I have been getting the same looks and laughs directed toward me around here a lot lately myself.I had one small group of immature bass take the show of disrespect a step further,i watched them slowly follow my rattle trap up to the shoreline and then look up at me and i swore i saw one of them give me the finger.

I have a friend going through the same thing right now,he hasn't caught a bass in over a month even though he has gone out 2-3 times a week fishing .I told him to quit worrying about catching and be grateful he is outside with nature and all its beauty it has to offer. Were from Illinois like you are and we all know are open water fishing days are coming to a close quickly,get out and make the most of it.I f nothing else bring a friend out fishing with you for something different to change things up.

I prefer a 7'rod and have everything from lite-medium heavy power. My 7' medium rods get the most all around usage.I have the most fun using my 7'lite st croix eyecon rod.
