Becoming proficient at using my fish finder and understanding what its telling me.

Since most of the responses that have been given are similar i suggest buying two vacation houses. One in Texas next door to where Catt lives and buy the other one in California next door to where WRB lives and befriend them both and beg them to take me out fishing with them when they go. Other than that read this site as much as possible.

The biggest thing for me is dealing with the bucket people and their garbage they leave behind. I have limited my confrontations with them by altering my work schedule so i fish during the week and work the weekends. I fish from a kayak and carry one of those gripper devices that people use for picking up cans and branches without bending over. On slow fishing days i patrol the shoreline and pick up the litter others leave behind. Other than that the only other thing i hate about fishing is that the meditation effect i get from it makes it hard for me to want to come in and face the real world again.

That has to be the definition of torture. Having a brand new rod staring at you from the corner and not being able to use for a few months.

It sounds like most of us need a winter road trip near fishin daddy's neck of the woods. I would take a snoring horse over 12 to 15 inches of snow any day of the week. I feel for you Smokinal !

Geesh Andy,You don't need to workout. Hoisting up and holding all those fish is exercise enough.

I just stumbled upon this topic, amazing stuff ! Man we have some talented people on this site. You can surf other bass sites and you will never find such talent and knowledge and information. This place has the best of the best. Great job you guys!
