Welcome back nitro! Bass fishing brought us here and the camaraderie keeps us coming back and tuning in every few minutes to see what's new. I can only imagine how fun the road trips must be. Makes me wonder if anybody gets any sleep on them...lol.

I love my crucial.I feel its every bit as sensitive as my way more expensive legend elite.

I haven't watched it in years but i remember the one skit where John Belushi and the gang were dressed up as killer bees and John Belushi catches one of the other bees "buzzing off"under the blankets with a magazine...lol I think it was Dan Akroyd who asks Belushi how does he know for sure and Belushi pipes back "because there's honey all over the place"

Interesting stuff! I never knew cold water bass fresh water bass live longer than the warm water variety do.I swear i learn something new everytime i click on this site.I guess this is why its so addicting.

Keep it up! During those tough times keep thinking about your family and how your adding extra life years to your life by quitting now (not to mention your also adding extra fishing years to your life at the same time.)

I didn't get it from a heated argument with the wife or from a Chuck Norris type altercation with a fellow angler who insisted on convincing me that fire line makes a better braided line than power pro..lol. I received it from my dog (vizsla) last night while rough house playing with her when she raised her head unexpectedly and hit me in the eye socket (she also hit me in the mouth on another occasion.). Rather than face public humiliation and hear comments like "what did the other guy look like" all day long I strategically placed a band aid under black & blue spot to hide it from the public. I told my wife I might have to invest in a goalie mask or football helmet to protect myself in the future when I play with her...lol. One of the more unusual ways that I have gotten a black eye.

I don't have much to add other than be grateful your still fishing, a bunch of us on here have the same "glass" looking water conditions your talking about but its because we have ice on the lakes.

Great news to hear about your quitting. Hang in there! you have all of us on here rooting for you.

One of the best things i ever bought for fishing in my kayak was one of those fishing vests with all the pockets in the front,i have all the hooks i use organized in one pocket and all the different type worm weights and drop shot weights in another pocket and i stuff the other pockets with things like pliers,sunglasses,a scale,tube of fish attractant,sunscreen,a sandwich etc.It saves me the trouble of turning behind me to grab the most common stuff i use all the time.

Because the rest of us on here cleaned out the warehouse,there is nothing left.

I ran to best buy and swapped out my wireless router that kept kicking me off line. I upgraded to another brand,belkin dual band router. The hooking up part was a cinch but when i go to get on line i get a message that says,We cant connect to your isp ,please call your internet service provider .Tell them your router was able to get an ips address but dns is not working.Do i really need to call at&t ? It also says if i want to try and set it up manually i need to know if i have a dynamic connection or a pppoc connection or a static connection. I don"what type of connection i have. UGH! Thanks for the help.

I will keep shore fishing until the ice comes. I kayak fish solo and I have a hard time motivating myself to take my kayak out as the temps drop. I wish I had a friend or partner who kayak fished so I could get motivated to take my yak out in the colder months .I'm sure I would have better luck.

Sorry about your back. I keep telling myself to take the kayak out but end up shore fishing with my dog. I will shore fish until it ices up (looks soon ) All of us love fishing so much it leaves a big void in our lives. Thank God for this site!

im still trying to figure out the square root of a triangle and now you expect me to understand this.

I had to replace my wireless router the other day so I ran out to best buy and picked up a netgear n300 wireless router.I know very little about computers but it was simple to replace it and get the new one up and running but I seem to get kicked off line randomly 4-5 times a day. If I unplug modem and then the router and then reboot I get back on line but I was wondering if I got a bad router or is it something else.
