2pc rod into a 1pc
Just curious, but why is one piece a requirement? I actually prefer two piece rods for wading rods because I fish streams that are a pretty good hike into the woods on overgrown paths, and transporting a two piece is easier for me in these conditions. The performance difference between a two piece and similar one piece is negligible.

The DT cranks for 2.99 each caught my eye, but I don't think I'll be there Friday at 6am to take advantage of the deal.

Buffalo 66
This has been on my list of movies to see for a while now, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Moss to the Titans.....
If the Cowboys wanted him, they would have had him. The only team ahead of the Cowboys in waiver order is the Bills.

Moss to the Titans.....
I just came on here to post this, but you beat me to it Tin. In other waiver wire news, the Bills picked up Shawne Merriman. As a Bills fan I'm glad they didn't go after Moss, but I support the move they did make

RANDY MOSS
I hope it's not Buffalo, and I don't really think it makes sense for them either. They are getting good production out of their young receivers. Since they are rebuilding, the last thing they need to do is bring in an aging vet distraction like Moss and undermine that. He won't make a difference for them this year, and would likely be gone at seasons end. If they pick up Moss, it just proves they learned nothing from the TO experiment last year.

2 New Baitcast Reels
let us know what you think after fishing them. I'm especially interested to hear your opinion of the carbonlite. I've been eyeing them since they came out. At this point its almost a foregone conclusion that I'll be getting one next time they go on sale, but more opinions never hurt.

Why dual brakes?
I'm curious what gives you this opinion. I've never seen a dual braking system because I don't own any dual braking reels. What have you seen in them that is suggestive of poor engineering? Its WAYYY too much unsprung weight for something that is masking issues from too much weight. Cracks me up---add weight to solve weight issue. Then add creative marketing to make them sound better, LOL. Two is not always better than one. Gotcha. Thanks for the response. I never thought about it that way (in terms of weight) but it seems to make sense.

Montana?
I'm not sure what you want to do with your psych Phd or if you would want to stay out there when its done, but the job market in Montana is pretty good for education related jobs. My girlfriend just got her bachelors in special ed, and she had job recruiters from Montana offering her jobs upon graduation while she was still a junior. She decided to stay in Rochester to get her masters, and I'm working on my masters/CAS in school psych, but after she finishes we're thinking about moving out there for the internship year of my degree.

I need everyones help please.
If possible, try to minimize environmental cues you may associate with dipping. This can be hard, especially if you do it pretty much all the time, but Ive found that environmental cues can be a strong instigator of cravings. For example, I played hockey in high school and we would dip in the locker room and showers after games and practices. That's how I got started and for a while that was the only time I did it. Once I started college I started doing it a lot more (didn't help that one of the frats on campus was sponsored by skoal and had reps giving out free samples at their parties). When I decided to quit I was lucky in that I had an easier time than most and I haven't dipped in two years, but to this day every time I'm in a hockey locker room I get cravings. edit: I agree with the others who suggest going cold turkey. When I decided to quit i gave away the couple cans I had lying around, stopped going to the frat that had free samples, and just told myself I wouldn't buy anymore. I didn't miss it and never felt like I needed to buy a can, but it was tough to say no when one of my buddies would offer me a pinch.

QUARTERBACK ISSUES ???????
Favre's always been the prototypical gunslinger QB. He makes high risk high reward decisions, and therefore throws his share of INT's, but he can also take a team on his back and win games for this very same reason. The Vikings knew this and still wanted him back this year. Of course they don't like losing and the INT's are a huge part of that, but if they didn't believe he gave them their best chance to win, they wouldn't have begged him to come back. You can certainly argue that he's lost a step and that maybe this is no longer the case, but I can't see his teammates badmouthing him behind his back for trying to be the guy he's always been, and the guy they wanted back this year. edit: I guess what I'm trying to say is while the players on that team have every right to gripe about Favre's results this year, I'd be willing to bet there's still a lot of respect for him in that locker room.

QUARTERBACK ISSUES ???????
Do you think they would have bad things to say about him? I doubt it. He's one of the toughest players in the game and a sure fire hall of famer. Not to mention that he was going to retire (again, but for good this time) after having a career year last season and only came back because the team went over to his house and begged him to come back. The Vikes made their bed with that move and now they're lying in it. You can't fault a guy for being the tough competitor he's always been when thats exactly what you wanted him to be and why you talked him out of retirement at the beginning of the season. They knew, or should've known then they were taking a chance that a man his age would fall off the cliff, but if he didn't he gave them their best shot at winning it all. As it turns out, the gamble hasn't paid off so far, but I can't see the guys in the room faulting Brett for that.

Raiders - WOW!
I shot myself in the foot with the Raiders (not their defense) this week in fantasy. I have McFadden and Michael Bush and kept them both on my bench because I wasn't sure which would start. Then they go out and have a historic day on offense where Mcfadden would've got me over 40 points and Bush had more points than either of the other RB's I started as well. Between those two and the Buffalo Airshow (I have Ryan Fitzpatrick and Stevie Johnson but wasn't about to play them against the Ravens D) I left over 100 points on my bench this week. >

soapy residue on older plastic plugs
I recently received some older lures, and several of the plastic ones have a white, soapy residue on them. One was completely covered, the others just had some here and there. I soaked them in warm water and dish detergent and the ones that only had a little bit of this stuff came clean with a good scrubbing. The one that was covered looks much better after a good scrubbing too, but it still has some of this stuff that doesn't want to come off. Does anyone know what causes this stuff to form in the first place or, more importantly, a good way to get rid of the rest of it?

bass hitting bluegills
I've used the storm wildeye live sunfish 3" with success. They aren't the best soft swimbaits out there, and can be difficult to get to run straight, but they will still catch fish. If you don't have the rod or the budget to throw the larger swimbaits, these are a decent option, and at 4-5 bucks for a three pack you can't go wrong IMO.

Hard to wacth
Yeah, in the video they mention that he's freeclimbing most of the time. That means no safety gear. I honestly think that's the only part I would have a problem with. I think I could do it, but no way am I going up there without being attached to something.
