someone got me started on white braids and i love it. The biggest reason why i use it is because i can see the line. I can see each tick that i might otherwise miss with other lines.

Mattlures perch next to a real perch
make sure to put a quick coat of super or softbait glue over the eyes before using. they tend to fall off after the first couple fish. I used the glue and haven't lost an eye since

Has anyone fished the little 2.5" Bass Magic swimbaits?
im telling you guys, dropshot them, lethal on smallies

what the most you've spent on one single lure?
the castaic all hard baits from the early 90's are worth some cash... the bait that you have isnt worth much but they still get bit. the 9'' trout version is the bait that Don Osborne used last year to win the first HBC. I encourage you to throw it, you might just stick a pig

hard bait or soft? if its a hard bait ill give you what you paid for it! It is built like a large bream. Deep belly and has a replacement body that can be removed and replaced. I bought it off a shelf and never had a box or any replacements. If ya'll can figure out if you want it or not let me know. It has a grey back with silver/grey sides. It is 5 1/4" from o-ring to the tip of the tail. is this it or this

Match the Hatch swimbait fishing
Add on.. Think about how many lakes dont have trout but the big trout baits still get blasted. If its a big, easy meal... the bass will eat it.

Match the Hatch swimbait fishing
absolutely.. the matts baits produce no matter what the condition. Great bed bait and awesome slow rolled.

For those wondering what type of lures to throw in Fall!
paul if you're going to do that then you might as well put up the two 8's from last week on slammers too...

What lure has brought you the best luck over all other tackle?
it used to be the weightless t-rig plastics. but in the last couple years i now bring 6 rods and RARELY change the baits. I have actually sold off a lot of other gear because I finally figured out what works for me. These may not always be the best choices but its what I have the most confidence in. Thats the BIGGEST key, Confidence. 6'6" spinning H - 65lb white PP with a 5/8oz BICO jig with Ugly otter or Yup Craw trailer 7' H spinning - 65 white PP with a spro frog 7' casting M-MH - 50lb green braid with a Strike King double buzzer or spinnerbait 7'11" H casting 25lb mono - Swimbait (usually MS, 316, or tru tungsten) or 1oz pegged brush hog for punching 6'6'' M spinning - weightless soft 6'6'' M- ML spinning for dropshot

what to do....top water frogs
throw a jig back into the holes and yoyo it.. might take a few casts. also lighter jigs like a 1/4 oz can be worked like a frog over pads pretty efficiently and the hookup ratio i think is a little better

whats you favorite buzzbait?
i used to hate buzzbaits... until i figured out the double buzzbait. Any double buzzer will hands down out perform any single blade buzzer IMHO
-
what the most you've spent on one single lure?
45 on 316lures baby wake perch

Question - Can you fly with tackle/lures/hooks?
ive done it but that was pre 9/11... i know people who have done it post 9/11 as well but also people who have been stopped for it. short answer is it really depends on the flight and the security. if i were you i would ship it to where your staying. cost like $5-8 and you'll have it no problem

New Design--FINISHED PICS
nice looking bait... not knocking or anything but the shape looks very similar in design to the 22nd century triple trout (quad)
