Rage Toad Setup And Hook
I threw the rage toad with a 4/0 ewg gammy on a MH rod. The key is to have the hook centered or it'll do everything it's not supposed to.

Ribbontail Worm Vs. Straight Tail Worm
Roboworm straight tails for me. I picked up some robo curly tails but still go for the straight tail first.

Diawa Lexa 100 On Sale
Great reel for the price but the magnetic braking is meh and they perform best with heavy baits.

Ultra Light Setups?
Hmf. I'll have to dig up some of my older posts....

Who's Your Mentor?
Without getting into my background, I was self taught. I honestly can't remember what drove me to get into fishing but I can say that BR and it's members have taught me so much and made me the half way decent fisherman I am today. Since then, I've been watching fishing shows, reading articles and lurking forums daily. I like to think I'm pretty OK at finding and catching fish.

Quitter-Rig
Well, I usually have a very limited time to fish when I go out. That being said, I have a hand full of baits I have a ton of confidence in and I always have those with me ready to go. Those baits depend on the power rod I'm fishing which is usually light/ultralight tackle (now bfs).

Spinning Reel Recommendation
While the president is a sweet budget reel (I've owned a bunch), $100 really opens the door to a lot of much nicer reels.

Spinning Reel Recommendation
I picked up a symetre for 80 on fleabay and I'm pretty pleased with it. Still haven't had it in the water yet but the fit and finish are on point with anything shimano I've owned in the past. Or if you wanna wait, you could probably score a stradic fj on closeout.

Shakey Heads
I prefer roboworms straight tails and even alive shads. But I also go through my bag of mend it repaired plastics and can usually find something else that'll work in a pinch especially after its been soaking in megastrike.

L/ml Casting Rods
I ended up with the same black carbonlite and it was great but wanted something lighter and got the 682 recon. It's a blast to fish with my BFS curado on top. I'm casting 1/16 Jigs with a 2" trailer with ease. Haven't picked up my UL rig since I got the recon.

Lego's And Adults?
Legos are cool and we have a lot of adults ask about them at my job. Especially the star wars variety. But minimates are better, lol. http://www.minimates.com

Show off your Stuff
That's the one. I've used small pieces of shrink wrap and prefer it over tape.

Show off your Stuff
Ah, OK. Thanks guys. I was hoping this would fit in my fenwicks odd sized real seat but my 201 and 51e curados had enough room in there to wiggle around.

Show off your Stuff
OK thanks. Could you tell me how long the reel foot is or if it any larger than the e series?

How do you feel about the differences between the Citica and curado? Worth the price? I'm really considering one but I'm having a hard time convincing myself to try a reel with something other than the Vbs brakes.

Best Scissors
These? http://m.basspro.com/William-Joseph-Hemocuts/product/71957/ I have a pair and they are fantastic. I fish light line and they cut like a hot knife through butter. I would imagine heavier lines wouldn't be an issue either.

- Light Line -- Mono Or Fluoro?
I much prefer braid on my UL outfit. I currently have 4lb floroclear and can't get used to the stretch after fishing braid for so long.- Ultralight Rods
Fenwick river runners are Excellent. Since I got into BFS, I downgraded to a previous model Daiwa procyon with fuji components. An excellent value but is a true fast and not whippy like the Fenwick was. The Daiwa cam be found on eBay for around $50.- Pflueger President Spinning Reel
How does abus orra line compare to the president aside from being a bit heavier?- Line Vs Heat And Direct Sun
I have everything spooled with braid except a UL beater rig I just put together that has floroclear. Also I didn't mean just thrown in there, lol. Lightly placed and neatly organized in the trunk is more like it.. So it won't be sitting on the dash board but I would hate to have severely weakened line when I least expect it.- Line Vs Heat And Direct Sun
I've always thought about how fast mono and floroclear degrades in direct sunlight or heat. Say if I were to leave a rod with floroclear in the trunk, how long would I have before the line breaks down? Does line diameter or construction (copolymer?) make any difference?- Ever Used A Split Shot Sinker To Get More Distance And Depth On A Rooster Tail?
Haven't fished a rooster tail but have with small floating rapalas. I've slayed the pan fish in NC doing that. - Light Line -- Mono Or Fluoro?
