I have a ton of favorite bands but the one I'm really into lately is Parkway drive.
  2. Yeah a lot of them are in the 1k range but there are some around 4-500. Lots of inflatable options too. I would imagine cruising the canals for peas would be a blast.
  3. Anyone fish off a paddle board? How do you like it? Pics? I've been tossing around ideas on how to get off the shore and this seems like a fun way to do it.
  4. Plano crappie bag with a 3500 or two at most. Most of the time it's a waist pack slung over my shoulder.
  5. Congrats to the both of you!
  6. Also I should note they aren't fishermen/women but they fish so I don't think we will be back in coves flipping cover. Maybe cruising the shorelines looking for any fishy spots. I'll be bringing a 2 piece m/f casting and a UL rig and they will probably have the same.
  7. We will be traveling to Orlando late June and staying at bahama bay resort near Disney. The in-laws are bringing their boat and want to do some tubing, wake boarding and some fishing preferably all in the same Lake. Can anyone recommend one over the other?
  8. I've also been wanting to try one for the UL. Let us know how you do! One of my favs to fish on the UL is the lake fork baby shad on a 1/32 or 1/16 jig. They can't get enough of it.
  9. Bearings, drag and shallow spool in my curado 51. It's a totally different reel. The spool really gets going quick and the bearings make casting much easier with less effort. And carbontex...well why not? It's $8 for the set and makes the drag silky smooth with a touch of drag grease. The added pressure is a nice bonus too. Eventually I'll get to the handle, drag star and Cc cap but those are strictly cosmetic and can wait.
  10. I've only used floroclear in 4lb as leader for the past few months and really like it. No complaints whatsoever and prefer it over the Cxx I had used before. At least in 4lb.
  11. Congrats, blue! Beautiful catch!

    I miss jnco's, lol.
  13. From MC, FYI. Now we’re planning to bring some Japanese models. Of course bait finesse rods also. But we can’t say now which model we bring and it takes time. Pls wait for a while. We have NANOACE for US market. There is a bait finesse model also. If you can try the rod... Sorry we have not distributed it in all state of US yet... The MSRP is US$109.99. It’s affordable price with Fuji guides & reel seat. We will ask Tackle Warehouse selling bait finesse model also. Thanks & Best Regards, Hamano Major Craft America corp.
  14. Got the avail in and finally took a pic. Man that thing is Shallow. As some of you seen my posts,im still very undecided about what rod I'm going to go with. My carbonlite works but I know there are better options. I haven't caught anything with it yet but it casts amazing. Maybe I'll continue to work on the reel by adding a longer handle, metal drag star and carbontex drag that I've been putting off.
  15. Found it. Bearing sizes are under the kit components tab. http://www.bocabearings.com/productdetail.aspx?ItemID=25097&MODSYSID=10416&ProductSubGroupID=102
  16. What size bearing is under the cap? I like mine but it really shines with heavier baits.
  17. It's been this https://youtu.be/86y0vYWDmm4 And this https://youtu.be/MIuJVYNvC-s All week
  18. Gross. I've had way too much checkers growing up I just can't do it anymore. I prefer Wendy's when it comes to fast food. Bojangles, cook out and smithfields when I'm in NC.
  19. Very nice. Hit the local lake earlier and man its scorching hot today. 0 bites but the tilapia are doing their thing.
  20. Thanks for everyone's replies. I'm still putting a lot of thought into it and will take everyone's post into consideration..
  21. Lol, gotcha. I'm always down to fish with someone as I'm always fishing alone but I'm probably a bit further south than you may want to travel. Also my schedule usually cuts my time on the water to a couple hours max each trip. Good luck though. I'm sure someone may want to tag along that's in your area.
  22. I'm tempted to take a trial course from one of the many online colleges but I'm curious to see if any of our BR members have completed any of these with success. I'm not set in any area of study but would probably go for a business management course as it seems to be the most well rounded. Reason for online courses is because of my work/family schedule doesn't allow me to enroll full time in a local college. Any input is greatly appreciated!
  23. I've always wanted to pick some up but walk past them in stores. Is one brand of in lines better than the rest? If im going for whatever will bite, a 1/16 jig with a ball tail lake fork baby shad or a float and fly hair jig on the UL usually works.
  24. There are a few members in the area but as you know, Broward and Miami Dade are quite big. Where do you frequently fish? And.... Crack baits? Lol what do you catch with those?
  25. You used to be able to find stradic fj's on fleabay for that price.
