More of an inconvenience than anything. I used a small piece of heat shrink tubing on the reel foot and it worked, but not something that should be needed.

Did they fix the issue with the reel seats that the smallmouth series had? All of my Shimano reels had play when mounted on the rod.

I agree about the vaping inside a public area. Can't you just wait to go outside to get your fix? I don't vape around my kids at home, why should you at the mall/restaurant/store etc? It's rude, inconsiderate and should be treated the same as smoking tobacco in public. Also some of the flavors people vape aren't that pleasant smelling.

Grewt job kicking the habit Been vaping a few years and got down to 3mg but am now back up to 12. I really enjoy velvet cloud vapors offerings. Very tasty. I even vape their unflavored liquid as is. I use the simple kanger ego style batteries and clearos. They're simple, they work and I won't hate myself dropping it.

Usually only one rod at a time for me with a small tackle bag. My outings are normally limited to a couple hours at most.

I'd also suggest a president size 30 but with a previous model Daiwa procyon from fleabay. You'd be just over your budget but with a great value rod with Fuji components.

I have the 915 avail spool in my curado and use 1 red brake with no problems. It doesn't hold much more than a long cast but it definitely transformed the reel.

I'm looking for some suggestions for a sturdy spinning reel case. I have my ardito rod that has its own case but don't feel to comfortable with the reel just sitting in a tackle bag in the car. Anyone?

I have a curado 51e that I dropped an avail 915 spool in and filled with 15lb power pro mounted on a 682 phenix recon and cast 1/16 jigs with trailer effortlessly. I got a great deal on the reel but they can he found used for around 150 plus 100 on the spool. I have under 300 in mine including the reel, bearings, hawgtech handle and avail spool. There's something about roll casting a crappie jig to shallow peacocks on a bait caster that has me hooked. FYI, I am far from an expert in bfs or fishing in general.

I like 2 piece rods and recently picked up a 3 piece ardito. They fish just fine though a tad heavier in weight than their 1 piece counterpart.

I love my lcp custom. I've settled on fiotcchi xtp and havnt had a single malf in 150 rounds. I néed to get to the range more often but it's definitely more controllable than what people make it out to be. I am a small framed guy at 5'8 on a good day and can get 2 fingers on the grip with the pinky extension. The Hogue grip makes it comfortable to shoot even one handed. The tall rear sights allow me to rack the slide on my belt if I had to. I did have to cut a notch out of the holster to make drawing smoother though. No biggie. It rides in my front right pocket in a DeSantis holster and the spare mag in a remora single mag holster I got as a freebie from a previous purchase. Very convenient system that I carry everywhere. Previously I edc'd a shield 9 iwb but this makes it feel like a brick. While I still love and carry the shield from time to time, I kind of have to be conscious on what shirt I wear. I doubt people would notice it printing, but I can tell especially when the wind is blowing. I can post pics if anyone is interested. Good luck with your choice!
