  1. The hardbait they advertise just seems too complicated to tie on. Im used to using a Palomar knot, its quick and easy. You cant tie that bait with a Palomar. Just watch the video, youll see, there a special knot they use, requires too much time and too many extra tools to tie on.Almost need a 3rd hand.
  2. The bait im asking about is 7 inches long, has a slot like a Dinger and has the smell of the YUM LPT and salt. Im not exactly sure these are Dingers, they came in a Plano box which I purchased off Ebay.In the same Plano box are Swim Senkos,Zoom Lizards and some Biffle-O's. The seller described these baits as Dingers though. Does the Dinger come in a 7 inch size?
  3. Picked up a few packs of LARGER YUM Dingers yesterday.Do these fish any differently than a regular 5 inch stickbait? I love fishing stickbaits wacky rigged,Im afraid that I might tear these larger ones in half on the cast rigging them wacky style. Or should I just fish them weightless t-rigged?
  4. Picked up a few packs of these, never really fished paddletail swimbaits before. What all do I need to know to be successful with these "Swimmin Senkos?"
  5. If people will be patient...Its a color that will be manufactured, its just a matter of time before its released. I guess its the hype behind a winning color...I wouldnt pay that price for a color thats coming out later. And if youll notice its not even a "redeye" anymore http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150418615070&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1952wt_722
  6. Ive got so many soft plastics as it is,and Ive heard mixed reviews,so I think ill pass on these. And makes sense not growing to fond of a bait, when they may not be available much longer.
  7. My local Walmart has a huge display up on an end cap of an aisle. They are all priced $2 per pack regardless of the bait. They look good... A simple Yay or Nay reply will do it for me.Thanks
  8. Both of the XR50's I purchased on Ebay came in the mail today...Boy are they purty. Ive got a Gold/Black back and a Royal Red. Beautiful baits. Hope the fish catching abilities are on course with the looks of these. What kind of action do these have on the fall? Anything similar to the Strike King Redeye Shad?
  9. Some soft plastics have a color called Electric Chicken...That color makes my stomach turn.
  10. Thats strange, because when I was 17, I had a friend take me to the sporting goods store and he told me to pick 1 lure out for my birthday. I picked out a 1/4 oz FIRETIGER Rattlin Rapala...Its a color I have grown to hate, dont ask me why I picked it out...
  11. Xs 100 I have thrown this color pattern 100s of hrs in my fishing life. I have caught a few fish on it but does not produce for me like natural colors. Kelley Please forgive my ignorance...But what color is XS100,and who produces this color? "times or multiplied by 100" D'OH... :-[

  13. Alot of us Bass Fisherman, myself included, spend our winter months contemplating our previous season and researching stuff we did, baits we threw and didnt throw or try. We set up a game plan for what we might want to try the next time we have a chance to get on the water. Now heres my dilemma. I have researched and asked questions here concerning different new baits and techniques and such, but I dont know where to start. Last year I became comfortable with a Spinnerbait, and now have great confidence in them. The year before I tried Baby Brush hogs and Dropshots(I love Dropshot fishing),and I now have confidence throwing those as well. The year before that,I just got started Bass fishing and was learning with Senko's. Well you know...Those are a no brainer, and thusly im Hooked on Bass Fishing since throwing them. This year I cant decide what I want to try. Ive got the thoughts of Beaver style baits ,crankbaits and Rattle Traps running through my mind. Then I want to also give the "spawn" a try if I get out there at the right time. How do you all decide what your going to throw or try in the new season?
  14. Im sure we all have outr favorite color schemes on baits. How about the ones you cant stand? I have trouble accepting the color "Firetiger" For some reason it reminds me of Northern United States Fishing where all that can be caught on that color are Walleye,Northerns, and Perch. We dont have any of those species of fish here, so I dont EVER see myself using that color pattern. Its very unattractive to me,like they took the loudest mix of colors and just threw them together. They all seem to clash Is this a bad idea,am I potentially overlooking an awesome color? So whats your least liked color on a bait?
  15. They mustve sold out because the only crankbaits they list are Gambler Custom Cranks for $15.99 ea.
  16. Ive got a Royal Red and a Gold/Black Back on their way as we speak.
  17. Wondering what everyone thinks of these. I went over to Basspro.com and read the reviews. Most everyone in those reviews says this bait is AWESOME and is a fish slayer. Anyone have any personal experiences to add about these baits?
  18. I have one like it that I fished out of the bottom of a lake. Ive disassembled, cleaned, lubed and reassembled it and it works great. Anyone know the gear ratio on one of these. Any other info is appreciated. http://cgi.ebay.com/ABU-GARCIA-AMBASSADAUR-LITE-MAX-ULTRA-CAST-BALL-BEARING_W0QQitemZ370312153902QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5638530b2e#ht_500wt_965
  19. Im not overly concerned about the whole split ring shape,I just thought it was a little odd that one bait had one style and another had a different style, and they were both the same style baits. Along those lines I thought maybe each bait was produced in a different part of the country,if thats even possible, with Strike King. I collect Hot Wheels cars and ill notice a variation of certain minute details on the same cars depending on where they were assembled. Guess im just weird that way(with details),but its a question I bet some others may have wanted to ask but overlooked .
  20. I would think that using a split ring to put line together may hinder your cast. At times a knot joining line together can hinder your cast,so a split ring would make it just that much more troublesome.
  21. Ive noticed on all the SK Redeye Shad baits I have looked at in the local WalMart ,the split ring where the line ties to is an oval shape. I purchased a Redeye off Ebay and that same line tie is a traditional round type. Now I know im being nit picky, but does that split ring shape make any difference at all in the action of the bait, either on retrieval or on the fall? Why would this particular one I purchased on Ebay have a round split ring line tie? Could it be an earlier version? Does anyone else's SK Redeye have round split ring line ties? Not stressin over it,Just some curiousity...Thats all
  22. Im curious to see how the Bass will react to the Sexy Shad Redeye on my local lake. The main forage on this lake are Crayfish, Green Sunfish,Bluegill,Shellcracker(Redear Sunfish) and Hybrid Sunfish(Green Sunfish/Bluegill mix), Frogs and of course smaller LM Bass. No Shad,Herring or other baitfish to speak of.
  23. Ive seen these baits all over Ebay. Ive seen thier Frogs and Crankbaits Anyone used them, are they any good?
