Well Bad news - My boat funds droped dramaticly. Wifes Honda lost the Transmission so got to tap into the boat funds to replace a transmision. The Good news is : I think i can rebuild my account out of my weekly paycheck assuming I stop driving to BPS.... Probably why the honda is parked lol. Still have Sanding Fiberglassing Sanding Prep and Paint to go this week. Things are getting pushed back (Which was expected). Keep checkin back.

Ok I figured Cell would be the best bet just didnt know if i should bring my set at the shop - Thats how my buddies keep in touch on Wiley.

Just an odd Question - Anyone use 2 Way radios on the trip ? We got a set at my shop and i was just thinking how it would work out if boats carried one to keep in contact (like cell i guess).

I am lovin the SPRO's frogs - Bronzeye jr works good although i havnt caught many fish on frogs - Just a few playing arround. They sure look AWSOME - I keep Greens and Black/White With Black/Blue in stock thats what was refered to me.

BPS has become my weekend getaway - I can take my wife and lil 2 yr old girl and it becomes a fun filled day of fishing on land Wife looks at home decore while my lil girl and i watch fish and pack as much into the cart as we can just so we can spend more time .... putting it back ... yeah thats what we do *pssst pay the lady with my card while i distract mom! Yes its worth the drive!

When you guys say JIG Head ... your refering to just the metal with no skirt i assume? Believe it or not my buddy has luck with them on a Jig (Booyah) with a Strike King Coffee Tube with matching skirt. I found this an odd combination but 10 minutes and he had me convinced. Nothing big came of it just 2 and 3 lb's but it sure caught fish on the jig as a trailor. (which is why i started my topic on jig trailors) Anyone else used a tube?

So ... My Callander says its gona be a full moon is it right or should i check some websites? I guess what im asking is : Is my Callander with moonphazes all ill need to know ?

So let me get this straight from what im reading and researching to make a dropshot rig... Hook (With worm or grub) Than add 3-5 ft line and a split weight pinched on ? Fished like a jig? up and down or side to side? Is it really that simple?

Longshot question but can you not use a fishfinder ? I wouldnt know as i just bought a fishfinder but heard you can watch your lure on them - Just thought this might give you the depth.

May be a newby question but how does the moon phaze DIRECTLY affect fishing? I know its somthig to do with tieds and such but does it make a huge diff on bass fishing?

I had a situation when i was younger about 5 years ago when i caught a bass and went ot release it as my buddy casted his out and caught the same fish on its way out of the cove we fished he was about 20 foot away from where i released it. Was wierd to me but now im reading similar stories,

Saturday I started the body work on the boat - After Removing the Outbord and all junk left behind, i now have just the boat and 2 seat posts (Which wont come out). Spent most of Saturday sanding the body and cutting up the rough spots - Tryed out the tiger hair (Fiberglass resin) in a few small spots which worked out well. Though the week its sanding and more fiberglass so keep checking up ill have pix updated tomorrow hopfully.
