Sorry NBR but the twist your talking about is not related to the example im talking about - Read the Shimano Product Support ... They too said that the line im using is the main issue. I didnt say Berkley or Stren SUCKS i said the kind i have Sucks - Wallmart brands just dont seem to work on this reel but work fine on my shakesphere . Its between the Spool and bail that the Twist / tangle happens. in cast - Yes your right it is probably the way its being put on but since spooling with Pline i havnt had the problem (casting in my front yard havnt hit the water yet) although i spooled it the same way as the berkley . Thanks for your support though. - Will try swivles when i use inline spinner.

There realy is a differance - Im gona check out P line this weekend at BPS - How do you all pick which line # to use? I think 8 would be fine for my local ponds and wiley .... but is there a formula or method

Im sure this is a touchy subject and one that is posted often as I have read through just about all things pertaining to "Line". However, Im gona ask it... What LINE would you recomend for a Shimano Symetree FJ 2500 on a Medium Pole? I fish all kinds of bait on it right now from swimbaits spinners soft plastics and jigs as it is the only pole i have right now. (About to buy a Cuedo E before the roadtrip ) I have used wallmart line - Stren Berkley and the low cheep line and am SICK of it - Read my post on Line problems in the Shimano Product Suport - IT tangles and breaks and even loosens some knots (I know quite a bit that do hold so this isnt the only problem) . Id like to move up in the world so if you all have somthing you would recomend please let me know. Also if BPS doesn't carry it you might need to help me out with where to get it as BPS is my main store. (I asked their guys and they sold me Berkley Triline Sensation which SUCKS) Thanks and hope this helps others as well.

Agreed Olebiker - It is as american as racing can get - Turned RIGHT into the Money PIT. Im gona watch this year - And will probably post about it - I just hope its not a disapointment and hopfully Kenseth doesn't run into the problems he did last year - It could be my last year watching as it takes a full day of fishing away

As for the lizards yes - Use em they work well and not just in spring either its was december i caught my Pb for that year off a zoom lizard and i doubt if you could find one in december arround where i live I think as long as your mimicing somthing the fish would eat they will eat. as for over using a bait it may be more ACTION that the bait it self? Dont know just my 1/8th oz

As a HUGE nascar fan - I agree with you all it is getting borring and getting to the point that money wins. Also on the topic of local racing YES im a huge fan running a Latemodel this year at my local dirt track so i know those who are in it for heart and soul - which brings me back to nascar - those who were there from the start such as Mark Martin and the old timers are why i still watch it. They are out there to drive what they got and to win the RACE not the cup. I think the CUP ruined Nascar ... Winston racing was 20X as exciting Seems ya either LOVE it or HATE it when it comes to 500 miles of left hand turns .

I have a similar pond in my comunity park - Few of my buddys were asking the same question so I think this will help. How can you tell how old the pond is? DoW is my only guess.
