Well its almost a month into the new year and I have gone fishing every weekend and few weekdays. Don't tell the boss those were sick days without catching anything. Lets see what ya'll got Post pix of your best catch of 2009 So far.
  11. Thats a nice fish (Pic1) looks colorfull That Spro BBZ-1 Is an awsome swimbait - i stocked up on them but havnt caught anything yet cant wait to get out and hit the water.
  12. If your into soft plastics try out a GYCB Kreature bait in some form of green / watermellon etc. These work good for me in NC when we get warm temps. Usualy run them on a jig and hit docks/stumps and submerged trees from land. Have fun and send pix of what u catch!
  13. Im assuming Hook up Rate means your catching more not getting snaged more right?
  14. Whats that mean?
  15. Ok thanks for the information that helps - Now i have made a hook box with EWG and Glock 1-5/0 each are there any other hooks i would need for my soft plastics? These seem to work the best for me but wouldnt mind expiramenting with other ones if yall have any sugestions.
  16. How can you tell what hook you have if they are all mixed? Rather than lay them out 1/0 , 2/0 etc is there any way to tell (other than the naked eye) ?
  17. Ok this might be a newby question but i havnt found an answer in my research. I buy Gamakatzu hooks and noticed i have 2 differant ones Glock and EWG... Im wondering what is the differance between the two what do they stand for and why is a 4/0 Glock smaller than a EWG? (May have this backwards) i mostly use them on my senko's but thats about all i have to right with them ..... Any advice would be much appriciated.
  18. I had a guy sit down next to me and fish without saying a word to me once ... kinda krept me out a bit he finaly left after i caught 3 fish and he didnt get a tap....
  19. I agree with Exist Spro is very real and works guess its a confidance thing.
  20. Im new to the science of bass but wouldn't scent also play a roll in aiding their sight. EX: If they smell somthing they swim towards it then half way they finaly see it ... a human may misjudge the fact that in the beginning the bass never SAW the object to begin with.... Im probably wrong but just figured id put my 1/4 oz in.
  21. Welcome im down in charlotte area.
